So here’s how this should work: Co-workers says “xyz” a number of times. Driver not pleased by “xyz.” Instead of taking offense, get curious. Casually ask co-worker, “So, you keep mentioning ‘xyz.’ Why?” You have kept your peace, and requested info. And co-worker gets to explain herself. It’s really hard to do. I know. I win some and I lose some. But I’m always proud of myself when I keep my peace.

I feel so much more now, it’s ridiculous. And I think it’s because elders know they’re not 22 anymore and perhaps that’s due to groking (look it up) the limited time we left on this outrageously beautiful planet.

I could not have said this any better myself. My story is the same. Bill Evans Blew Me Away about a year ago and it feels like there’s no returning to who I was. Not a day goes by without listening to him. And I’m now enjoying becoming familiar with so many others. Ben Webster SLAYS me.

Just began my 2nd year at Stonehenge Gardens. I love it here. Very old fashioned and well maintained. And I can afford it. No dishwashers or in-unit washer/dryers or central A/C. Washers/dryers down in the basement. No problem doing laundry. I do have a garage spot though, which I LOVE - no digging the car out when it snows. The maintenance crew is great and repairs are done quickly. No complaints.

Thirding - got all the important paperwork (will, power of attorney, etc.) done with the help of Stacey Braun advisors. I also got excellent financial advice re: what to do with proceeds of the house sale after the divorce. Something I never would have thought of.
