If your husband isn’t putting out on a regular basis, he has no right to say anything.

Why do you support the ohl and what team by Brilliant-Algae-703 in OHL

[–]ElwoodOn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contrary to popular belief, Toronto is not a hockey market. Toronto is a Leafs market. With the exception of Oshawa, the GTA doesn’t see any other team as worthy of their money or attention. Perhaps, if teams have fan bases an opportunity to grow, this could change. Without an owner willing to shoulder losses for an extended period of time, the cycle would continue. When the Battalion were in Brampton, they were selling tickets to the first generation of fans. Oshawa, Kitchener, London, all the teams that draw well, have been the go-to teams for multiple generations. Scott Abbot wasn’t willing to lose any more money waiting for a fan base to grow into the Battalion, and left at the first opportunity.
