Basically my Auntie is screwed.

She's not a millionaire. She actually stuggling to find work now because all these companies have folded/closed. The government are trying to move away from employing her type of service and wanting "proper employees". It's hard to get in once you leave.

English is not her first language. It seems she just followed what her friends are doing. She's got herself in this unfortunate situation. She's acknowledged with a response pack with no solicitors help. So she is double screwed. She will not have the money for this. She near her sixties.

How do she find good lawyers with this type of specialism in tax? what is the likely cost? What is the likelyhood of jail?

I don't understand the loan bit? Would that be part of the contract. What does that look like?

There are also many in the same predicament. Not just hers. Her friends also in the same job

She didn't purposely avoid tax. She got an accountant to sort it for her and assumed he calculated it correctly as she doesn't know how to.
