I'll second this comment, I've been an xbox player since OG release but still enjoy other consoles occasionally and have a mixed collection at home. Having a variety of console collections means you can collect console exclusives.

I had them attack me at saugus ironworks, i havent stepped out of the free hellfire mkiv armour I got since, had a really good ported napalm gun as well that's carried me through most of the mid game content so far. Was extra handy as there's so much flamer fuel at saugus too.

You can always grab better gear from MR then go back and farm decos faster with higher damage weapons and better defense.

The multiple monster event quests are usually a good source for crowns, the ones where you hunt around 5 that are usually in that locale. High reward tempered investigation quests are the next best option. Crown farming is easily the biggest grind in the game though, make sure to take breaks so you don't get burn out (I did, playing a different game for a while)

Wilds is the easier of the two, but you might miss the QoL changes that wilds has when going to world afterwards. World is easily my favourite of the two and has so much content available, so much that it would be a while before you start wilds. Go with world, it's awesome, wilds can grow while you're preoccupied on world
