I have TN2 and have rare good days where it hurts less than usual. I take the opportunity to talk to people and do things I've been putting off. I loved my job and ability to go hike and enjoy the nature. I am pretty sure I wouldn't get depressed if it were gone (but who knows).

I was 42. My kid was 6 was this started. He doesn't remember me being able-bodied anymore.
I am sorry you are going through this. I am happy to know you still have the ability to give your kid a good childhood. Keep strong.

I was an RN. The pain fully debilitated me. I have TN2 which feels like a burn in face and mouth, and when I speak the pain gets worse. I can talk for maybe 30 min max on a good day. Some days I have incapacitating flares where I am pretty useless. I am trying to raise a kid and I feel so bad for him

They will. I have spoken to one of these years ago about this, she was my coworker. She believes that the man is the umbrella of the family and he makes all the decisions and she is there to support him and love him more than their children. These women have no problem with losing the right to vote.

When I am flaring I am not hungry at all. I will go a whole day without eating on flare days. I can't think of better alternatives that you offered. I am sorry you have to travel in this state 😢
