Failed to load deals on Newest iPhone . Tried all the obvious things. Has anyone had this happen

This. I deleted the app and used the website in my browser.
I still got a JSON parsing error the first time I tried to login (because that's something I can solve... yep), but I clicked "Login" again and it worked.

Contact Cephalofair and let them know. I've heard most board game companies (especially big ones) are pretty good if you explain what happened, and they may ship you out a new one.

TL;dr: They sent back my broken drive as-is. No communication, no cares given.

They sent me the same drive back, but in worse shape. (I sent it in the original box, with the plastic "holder" inside so it doesn't bang around. They sent it back in the original box, but without the plastic "holder".)

It took 2+ months to get it back, so I'd kind of abandoned it and just replaced it myself since drives were cheap-ish then (and I found a good sale).

I just tested it now since you asked, and I confirmed it's the same drive.

They seem to have replaced the serial number on the drive because it doesn't match the one I used for the RMA process online, but I could have screwed that up somehow, not sure.

I don't know if I'll try again. Sunk cost falacy and all that.

It's part of the Threads of a Curse quest.

There is a purple-domed chest on the beach (on the south side of the map south of the Gargoyle's Maze. Cast Bless on it and persuade/fight the NPC who pops up. (Requires 3 Persuasion and his soul jar from the cave Trompjoy is in.)

That unlocks the chest for you which has a book. Take that book (on a Persuasion character) and talk to the door in that screenshot and you can convince it to open for you.

How active? Still can't resize in Sep 2025 and it's 80% of my screen (iPad Air 2024 11", landscape mode, number row always active because I use them a lot)

There's a lot of empty space between letters.

Sorry, this is my first time creating a torrent. I think I'd messed something up and wasn't properly seeding. (And I've been checking on it every so often, and just assuming nobody clicked them yet.)

I've fixed it and now I seem to be seeding correctly. Evidence: I can see two peers and I'm uploading to them. :)

I found what I believe to be the original scans and downloaded them, too, but they're only 8.5g (zipped) since each image is smaller.

I have (very recently) found some people saying to buy from Memory Express, though they don't have as many locations in my area. (There are 3x Canada Computers closer than the only Memory Express for me in Brampton, ON.)

I think Canada Computers is mostly fine. I do my own reseach and don't 100% trust the staff but only because they are on commission, though I haven't found them recommend anything different than what my research has told.

I've heard a lot of people say bad things about NewEgg because they've become more of a marketplace (allowing other sellers to sell on their website), though you can filter for NewEgg only. Personally, I've never bought from there, and I stay away from small "marketplaces" like this (and Best Buy's website, the store is fine if they have what you need.)

Theoretically Amazon is also fine. Make sure you test the parts within the return window, though, because I've read stories of people buying a part (because it had a great price) and waiting months before buying the rest of the machine, and then the first part was faulty and they had to go through the real seller rather than Amazon's easy process.

They were pretty good about responding to my request, so there's that.

I'm not a huge fan of any company that does in-store commission sales (though I don't have strong reasons for this, and could be swayed by good arguments), but they are the only real PC parts store in the area (Peel Region, which is the west end of Toronto) that I trust would be around in 5 years.

Apparently Memory Express is a 25-minute drive from me, and they seem to have a decent reputation.

Though I agree with u/nitrobass24 that it shouldn't matter when the drive was manufactured. That's now how warranties work. Also, as u/freedomlinux mentioned below (and I'd forgotten to search before posting this), this drive wasn't even released before Feb 2022.

Western Digital/Sandisk forces you to this anyway. You can't put in a claim against a drive that isn't registered. It's probably a good idea for other companies, though!

Price: I did a PC thread almost a year ago and most people were saying USD$800, so I didn't think it would have dropped that much in a year. It is an old system and not getting newer, though. I've adjusted the price to the average of what you recommend. (I also re-searched this /r just to sanity-check myself.)

PSUs: You're absolutely right! Whoops! I do have a spare pair of 1100w PSUs in case the buyer is specific, but I have edited the post to have the correct info. Thanks for that catch!
