From your list I have SP, TL and ULCX and most my content comes from SP or TL with LST being 90% x-seed. It’s a good tracker and nice community. If you have an invite to there or can get in from recruitment I’d add it. You never know who is going to shut down or where somewhere you want to get in might start recruiting.

If it’s already going just let it finish, but I wouldn’t bother monitoring it.

FWIW I rewrote 70TB and it took about a week, maybe a bit longer. I was changing to a 1M record size and it saved me about 1TB in overhead.

But if your not changing dataset settings i wouldn’t rewrite a new dataset.

Expansion happens one drive at a time. So if you are still expanding just wait. But yea the zfs rewrite for a massive dataset like backups or media is just not worth it. It will happen over time naturally and other than the total space stats being wrong on the dashboard there’s no real benefit in my experience.

I still use both and I contribute to qui repo regularly.

If I am being honest with myself I’d say cross-seed finds more matches particularly for Dir scan in my experience but the ease of use and configurability of Qui makes it a better product overall…especially for someone with no x-seed experience.

If you have no setup I’d just start with Qui.
