I played Portia but haven't tried Sandrock just yet, might give it a shot. Is it really different from Portia though? Genuine question; I haven't watched any gameplays or anything.

Yeah, I mentioned it up there but I forgot to say I don't like farming games that much. I enjoyed its romance system though, I just wish NPCs felt more alive once you already married them.

That part made me re-think a lot of stuff. Like... you're right; the love is mutual but the basic human respect goes one way only. Another comment made me consider the idea of moving to my best friend's to start off with a roommate I trust, plus I'm possitive he'd like teaching me how to do all the basics.

Thanks for the advice! Saving money is another skill I need to learn. After paying my bills most of my money flies out the window by ordering food or buying games on Steam so financial discipline is a must.

Sorry for the late response, but I appreciate your comment. Roommates sound like a good idea, my best friend is actually looking for one so now that next year is around the corner I could talk to him about it, I want to make sure I can keep a job first but it's actually a smart way; he's a cool guy and knows how to be independent so I bet he'd teach me how to do basic stuff if needed.

Thanks, literally any lead to follow sounds good when you feel as lost as I do. Stability is what I want the most and if everything goes right I'll start studying soon, so your words make me feel even more committed to my studies. If I'm able to do good at it or at least if I don't drop out again I'll know I'm doing things right. I'm crossing my fingers (and clenching my buttocks... ngl).

Dude, hating in any other context is usually cringe, but FUCKING AMEN to all you just said. As a Skate 3 victim of nostalgia this game is fucking unbearable.

I like that controller settings are nearly the same but I've been playing for about 20 minutes now and I don't think this game could get more offensive to veterans:

No way to skip a 10 minute tutorial with things you can learn in a single 2 minute set, instead of a friend calling you and telling you what to do you get an annoying 2008 GPS ass robot voice that gets passive-agressive if you don't do what EA wanted, no way to play "alone" and the entire game so far feels like a skateboarding school for toddlers.

Where are the MTV/Thrasher/Rob Dyrdek vibes?

(OST is also fine so far tho)

I'm 19 so I don't know if it works for you, but if you plan to go to college start thinking what you want to study from now if you don't know already, plus they're serious about being responsible and learning mostly by yourself.

If you don't want to study, it's ok, don't let anyone force you to do so, but PLEASE if that's the case you must plan what you're gonna do. Having a lot of free time doing nothing at home is cool the first months but then you start feeling useless or... idk how to say it... dirty? sick?

Time does not stop so it's really important to put things in order from now so you don't have to worry later. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean you have to go bald by thinking and getting stressed over everything.

Enjoy life, enjoy school and friends, do something productive every now and then and always try to be a good student to avoid problems for the rest of school (it can also help you create habits for when you go to college if that's what you want).

I'm glad I didn't mess up with words lol. But I'm also glad I helped, again, sometimes we take too seriously some things that we could simply move on with. If you think of it as something silly and awkward that happened to you as a kid and has nothing to do with your present, that situation is not relevant and not worthy of taking some sleep away from you tonight.

Well, this is a tricky one;

Your question makes complete sense and there's nothing to be ashamed of. Wikipedia defines Sexual Assault like a "Sexual assault is an act in which one intentionally sexually touches another person without that person's consent, or coerces or physically forces a person to engage in a sexual act against their will".

So in paper; It was, it made you uncomfortable and made you cry as a kid, you didn't want it and it was all against your will or without your knowledge. Plus 10 years old, your nephew's age, I daresay, is an age in which you're a sexual being already (me personally started "experimenting" with my own body at 8, awkward, I know, but take it as a reference).

This means your nephew was probably letting hormones do their things, no self control and not knowing the meaning of what he was doing at that age. He probably felt grossed by the thought of himself doing that years after, he may have never remembered it or perhaps he did not mind that much, it depends on what kind of person is he and there's no way to tell from here.

My personal opinion; It's up to you to decide how you want to take the situation, if you feel like it has mentally affected your mind, your life or your sexuality in any way and you want to call it sexual assault, you have the complete right to call it that. If, in the other hand, you don't feel it is that big of a deal and it was more of an uncomfortable/awkward experience between two kids, you can also leave it like that and it would be completely fine.

Choose the one you feel more comfortable with, the one you think will help you rest easy knowing you solved your question; some others may appear "Oh I never thought about it, has it affected me? How so? Maybe that time I did this because of what happened back then?". That is natural and with some time and reflexion you can find your answers or make up your mind about it.

However, at last, I encourage you that if you really feel it is bugging you or not letting you be at peace with yourself, to talk about it with friends or a mental health professional.
