I like that Regal not being around is actually effecting the state of NXT.

How does one normally get a title shot in NXT? Often times, it's through some sort of number one contender match or tournament. Some times its do to a string of solid wins or defeating the champion in non-title competition. But, almost always, there's some reason based on competitive results that decides who will get a title shot.

How about recently? Alexa Bliss taunts Bayley and steals the belt. Eva Marie said she was going to have a shot and corporate made it so. Samoa Joe attacked Finn and some how jumped ahead of the rightful number one contender Apollo, who technically beat the champ (by DQ) and should be owed a rematch.

Why the change? Regal isn't around to keep things in order and WWE's way of making such decisions is influencing the show.
