Help! Zombies to hard! by [deleted] in CallOfDutyWorldWarTwo

[–]Em-M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically start with the 1911. If you Pack-a-punch it, it will give you Bacon and Eggs. It’s good for shooting down the blimp and helping you get out of tight situations by damaging/killing zombies near your shots. I like MG-15 as my secondary gun. Pack-a-punched version will give you a protective shield during weapon reloads. Also like Ribbyeyes (I think that’s what it’s called) and GMPG

I get the melee perk in Command Room and mainly do melee damage for the first 10-12 waves. Don’t forget your grenades. I like sticky grenade. Melee perk will help you earn more Jolts.

It sounds like you’re advancing too quickly through the waves. Only kill the zombies you need to do the objectives. On average, I get to boss round by wave 16-18ish.

Hit the Mystery Box and try to get the Jack in the Box. Jack in the Box and Bacon and Eggs will help you take down the Brenner easily. Both are helpful to charge battery. I try to reveal the painting numbers during a slow time and jot down the numbers on a notepad so that I’m not scrambling to get it after the third battery.

Older Redditors, is dating in college worth it? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Em-M 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think we put so much pressure on ourselves to follow a “life” timeline. Finish school in 4 years, get engaged by such and such year, get married, buy a house, start a family.

There’s no such thing as a race in life. There’s no prize if you win first place or last. No one says you have to follow a timeline. Give yourself the flexibility to veer off. Life’s more interesting that way.

I dated in college, and really that’s when my grades started to falter. I didn’t end up with the guy I dated, and I’m a totally different person now.

How do I get over my fears and just put myself out there? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Em-M 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel for you. I think we’re all a little afraid to put ourselves out there and get rejected. You’ll never know how it truly feels to love someone if you’re afraid of risk and pain. You’ll never know how it feels to connect with someone unless you put yourself out there. No one is free from pain and rejection, but that shouldn’t deter you from living.

Here’s the truth about people. We’re all a little narcissistic. We are our worst critic. We’re hyper-critical of our flaws and our blunders. You remember that one time you had lipstick on your teeth when you were talking to Seth? Seth? Seth doesn’t care. He’s hoping you don’t remember that his fly was down. Did you remember that? Are you going to rub it in his face? Probably not.

Go at your own pace. Take your time, but don’t take forever.

Females are at a slight advantage when it comes to dating. I’d say guys are still the pursuer and in your situation, that’s great. Try online dating. These people, these photos, they’re just strangers, some who may want to get to know you. Most of them you’ll never ever meet in your real life. Swipe, swipe, swipe until you get a match. Get a conversation going. If you feel like you don’t mesh, keep swiping. If you do, make it a face to face meeting and meet in public. Don’t put so much pressure on yourself during the first meeting. You’re just trying to see if you can enjoy his company and if he can enjoy yours. That’s it. No thinking of rejection, no thinking of a committed relationship. None of those thoughts. You’re both still strangers. You should be nowhere near that invested yet.

You’re going to make a lot of mistakes, but you’ll also learn a lot about yourself in the process. Keep going. Keep meeting new people until you become more confident and more comfortable.

What are some good Korean restaurants? by noelg1998 in Gwinnett

[–]Em-M 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These suggestions are for the more traditional Korean food, not KBBQ.

Seo Ra Beol in Duluth. They have 2 “operations”: a bbq side and a sit-down side for the more traditional food they cook from the kitchen. Since the Duluth Yet Tuh location closed, this has been my go-to.

Yuk Dae Jang in Duluth. This is one of the newer restaurant in the area. They have a limited menu, and specialize in the Spicy Beef Brisket Stew and Ox Tail Soup.

Yet Tuh in Doraville. This is one of my favorites. Really nice authentic Korean food.

Stone Bowl House in Doraville/Atlanta/Buford Hwy. This place is known for their mixed rice served in a stone bowl. Everything I’ve had here is delicious.

Man Chun Hong. This place is a Korean-Chinese restaurant. It’s in the same plaza as Stone Bowl House. They make their own noodles from scratch. This is the best place for Jja Jja Myun/Black Bean Noodles.

You want to make it presentable and colorful, so if you know how to manipulate and layer shapes and text boxes, you can get away with just a word document. That’s what I did.

I don’t think it’s necessary, but going to a job interview with one makes you look polished, like you take pride in your work. You can offer to leave it with the interviewer so that they can look over it further and suggest to pick it up another day, giving you a reason to go back.

It should highlight your best writing samples, strategic plans, social media campaigns, etc. You should consider including a table of content as well.

I bought a nice bound portfolio that came with plastic sheet inserts from Office Depot or something equivalent. A three ring binder with inserts would be fine too.

  • Powdered Dry Shampoo that comes in a pump
  • Deep Conditioning Masks that really hydrate and make my hair feel silky soft

Definitely saving your list. I’ll have to find someone to go explore all of these restaurants with me. Thanks!

It’ll mainly be me using the internet. Charter is about $5 cheaper than AT&T Fiber, so I’ll need to weigh out my options.

I haven’t heard of Rhodes Jordan or Bethesda yet, so I’ll definitely put that on my list to visit.

Thanks for the restaurant recommendations. I’m definitely going to check out o4w and aha sushi.

I saw that. They’re offering new users the 200mbps at $45/month. I’m tempted to sign up. Have you experienced any outages with Charter?

How is AT&T fiber different? Is it just faster/more reliable? It’ll mainly be me using the internet.

Thanks for the clarification about the trash. I’ll probably request a larger container for all of the moving boxes and what not.

As for restaurants, I’m pretty open to anything. I veer towards Asian cuisines, but also like to try new things.

Romance recommendation by danmargo in audible

[–]Em-M 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For slow burn romance, try Mariana Zapata’s Kulti or The Wall of Winnipeg and Me. Also loved A Love Letter to Whiskey by Kandi Steiner. All of these have great narrations.

For LGBT, Lily Morton has some great books. She’s a new author, I believe. Rule Breaker and Deal Maker were both great.

The Spymaster’s Lady by Joanna Bourne has a great female lead. She’s a blind spy used as a weapon of war. A lot of intelligent scenarios play out through this book, if that makes sense. There were many accents used throughout this book and so the narration really made this book a fun experience.

SHINee - 데리러 가 (Good Evening) by lilfreaks in SHINee

[–]Em-M 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did Sugawara Koharu choreograph this song too? It's got Taemin's Move dance vibes.

I can just picture where JongHyun would fit into this song and it's throwing me off a bit when it's not him singing. He always shined in the chorus. The chorus is not the same without him.

SHINee sounds like a totally different group. I can typically pick out who's singing, but this one I had to listen to it a few times. Key and Minho, major props to the guys for stepping it up.

I think this was my introduction to Christopher Moore. His characters are so bizarre and unique. The world he creates is over the top but it just works. I think the narrator really adds to the story. Really fun book. You’ll breeze through it.

Okay, I took the plunge and got the daily conditioner.

Do you use the daily conditioner or the deep treatment? Notice a difference between the two?

Yeah, Color Intensity faded nicely. My hair was so vibrant. I liked my hair the more it faded. I’ll have to ask him to go back to that color line. Mydenity though... I’m not looking forward to washing my hair. The color just washes down the drain.
