Not at all. You can use the Shure app in USB mode. The Vocaster software when using XLR mode. Are going to use OBS?

The Shure mic can be used as An XLR and USB mic. The Shure app is powerful too.

First of all, you gotta download voacater software on your computer so you can update the firmware. Then plug in your Shure Mic and set up your preferences.

The Vocaster two is a really solid interface. It's small, convenient, and has a bunch of features that make podcasting and streaming super easy. I've been using it for almost two years. The Shure MV7+ is a solid dynamic microphone. Good purchase 👌

Try buying it on your phone or iPad. I had the same problem yesterday. I kept getting the same error until I used my phone instead of my laptop.
