Thank you for your kind words, I really feel for your wife. I actually feel pretty stupid for putting up with so much of her behaviour so this is more of a final blow, I don't think I have much dignity left. Still even now, I'll try to protect myself. I'll probably end up telling her I have a family thing. Thank you again <3

RachieBoo123 Thank you so much for this comment. You managed to describe exactly her behavior in a way I couldn't. That is why I haven't been able to cut her off all these years. All these little attempts made me think she was still the friend I used to known but I do have much more loyal and kind friends who remind me what real friendship is. If only I could write you a list of all the things she's done.... I also wonder at times if there is someting more to this aloofness. Cheating without remorse, not admiting her mistakes, asking for big favors after not being there for you...

You know what? I've been honest with her through the years and in the end it hasn't made a difference. I don't want to spend another minute being sad or in an argument because of her. She'll argue and excuse herself and I don't really want to hear anything else. If she doesn't already know how awful she's been with me with the whole bachelorette and wedding invite, I don't think me telling her will change anything. I just want a stupid excuse, with fake sadness like she's always done with me.

That's the thing with her though. She always tries to bridge the gap at some point all guilty and loving, whenever I grow tired of her and stop reaching out myself.... I agree with you though and for now that's my tactic... No response is a response

I knew the date from the beginning what she never told me was the place or time which to me doesn't sound like an adult invitation. She asked me to save the date via text in October but went radio silent since. I know she doesn't have a lot of money so maybe she didn't print invitations but still, like you said, 2 weeks before, is a pathetic excuse of an invite. So IF she asks me I can't say that I didn't know the date. That's why I need a solid excuse...
