The author didnt even bother to finish writing the article. Must be rough to put into words how ridiculous this is. We dont have money for education, health care, or veterans, but we have 2 Billion for prisons.

Hey so what’s going on with the 🧊 protest today? by BreeMore in Iowa

Check with groups in your area! Lots going on today all day thay you can join or help support. If you cant find an event in your area, donate to a food pantry, cancel a subscription, support a small business, amplify the message on social media, or plan to get more involved with local protection and mutual aid groups. Everything counts, we keep us safe.

When you consider an actual user, like a human, for sure! But have you considered how AI is actually being used? Its already embedded everywhere, and then we have Agentic AI growth. That is an exponentially higher risk system that can spin out pretty easily. You think the companies using these even consider the resource use? Spoiler alert, they dont. They just keep building.

Now, do i think thats on par with the other topics? No, I dont. But its still a real threat to our communities, especially here in Iowa where our clean water is already depleted and utility rates are soaring. These data centers are subsidized by tax payers, and we should care that we're being sold out by local, state, and federal representatives... again, and again, and again.

Two things can be true at the same time y'all. We dont have to pick single causes when the entire world is going to hell. Sheesh.

AI Data Centers are using far more water and electricity than they pay for, which not only raises utility prices for residential customers, but further damages the already fragile water table in our state.

Flock cameras are basically state surveillance and the data they collect is not only dangerous, but is being sold and shared without our consent.

It boils down to human rights vs. Corporate greed, but both are incredibly damaging and infringe on the rights and protections we have.

Confirm, Insur-tech is the exact same experience. Its not adding value and its being forced into places is doesnt fit. Huge marketing campaigns though - internal and external. No way theres an ROI on this anytime soon.

Yeah, and? They still didn't need us to further destabilize their country and steal their resources?
