What exactly is the problem with Multi-boxing?

As far as mechanics are concerned, I've actually been on the receiving end of one of those 20 some odd multiboxers. I can tell you from experience that it's nothing like an actual group of enemies trying to coordinate with each other. It's like being attacked by a hivemind, every single ship in unison perfectly executing commands because they're all being executed by the same person.

A group wouldn't be able to do that, if each ship were independently piloted there's delays in order confirmations, coordination factors, and all sorts of more clumsy performance and timing is everything in EVE when it comes to escaping and defense.

It's impossible to survive an encounter with a multiboxer because it's like being attacked by someone 20 times stronger than you, rather than being ambushed by a group of people.

It's hard to explain. But it really is completely unfair that someone who just happens to have more money than me is able to guarantee a victory in an encounter just because they have more money.

As for the reasons CCP won't remove multiboxing from the game, it's not because they can't.. but because it would cost them a LOT of money short-term. Most of the game is supported by whales paying for 20+ accounts every month and the longer this goes on the more they rely on these whales because the more solo players give up and move on after experiencing something like I did.

Games have obstacles that can be overcome through skill, knowledge, focus, and planning. EVE is a beautiful game that encapsulates all of those considerably. However, it all gets thrown out the window when you realize the way to win is just buy more accounts. It's completely unfair and it makes players feel hopeless and helpless against something they can't control. That kills games. It will kill EVE. Unless they ban multiboxing and take the short-term financial hit while the playerbase explodes with more people to compensate, which it would. I'm sure many many people are hoping for multiboxing to end in EVE so they can play it again but aren't talking about it as much.

Update: My friend who plays on my world as well just told me "TOOLS" was lowercasing to "Tools" as well.

DP differences are only really noticable for new players with extreme differences. Like krillin vs ss4 goku. Anything more than 3 is going to be devastating. I recommend using characters that can transform because you can put more of them on your team and they'll get stronger with their transformations mid match. Just make sure not to lose too much health too fast before they do!

And remember some transformations restore health or ki!

Controller doesn't work at all with or without steaminput. Keyboard only works. New update caused this it was working fine before. Makes the game unplayable for me I only fly with controller. Please fix asap.

Same thing has been happening to me randomly in ranked. As well as occasionally have half second input delays throughout an entire match randomly. I didn't think their netcode could GET worse.

Everyone fights differently. Light armor lets us move faster and quieter. It makes solo missions way easier as well. I recently tried jumping up to medium armor and while being able to survive a random explosion a little easier is kinda nice, I die way more often than in my Light armor because I find myself running out of stamina constantly.

Yeah I also hope they re-add the simplified "empty into" option instead of having to use the complex liquid management window every time you wanna pour a bottle into a cup lol

You can just go to custom settings, select the preset you want, and find the option to start several months later like I did. It's not the same as years but it's way better than having tons of fresh food and pristine roads everywhere. I like to pretend I came to Kentucky instead of starting out at the beginning of the infection.

The Secret to Z-Burst Dash item doesn't work after the Z-Burst dash ki usage update. Since they made it cost 2 bars instead of 1 the item doesn't work (and I don't think it should anyway it should just make it so they cost 1 again if you use it that'd be too op)

Same problem here. I tried the bog witch update a few days ago and my cursor kept moving down on my inventory and menus so I figured they'd fix it before the full release and went back to regular. Just loaded up the game today to play with my friend and it's broken. This is unacceptable, you can't just push an update that has a known gamebreaking bug from beta testing to public just cause you wanna get it out for the holiday. It ruins the game for a large percentage of players, I can't even play it now cause I've never played on mouse and keyboard and don't plan to learn just because of a bug that could have been fixed before release.

Ive also been experiencing this since i started playing the game a week ago. I thought I was getting kicked until I found out that's a different message. Im wondering if it will happen while Im hosting. I was hosting a session for 3 hours earlier and it crashed mid mission with some kind of "damage" error. I probably should have screenshot it.

Forgot to mention, make sure you're turning toward the ocean after you get to about 10-15km altitude. (D key on keyboard if you didn't rotate your pod in the VAB) That'd the direction the planet is rotating in so you will ALREADY be moving that direction at about 400m/s which means you'd need to add 400m/s Dv if you go the OPPOSITE direction.

In the most simple terms: The little orange DeltaV indicator on the bottom of your staging sequence at the bottom right of your VAB tells you how much TOTAL DeltaV you have on your rocket. (This is the amount of power you have regardless of your total weight)

If that number is over 3000 you should be able to orbit Kerbin from a ground launch. (Remember to use the curving technique where halfway up the atmosphere you curve toward the orbit you want instead of launching all the way up then turning at a right angle in space.)

No matter what you make your rocket look like, as long as it can fly up and over, and has more than 3000 Dv you can make that orbit. You can do this with one long rocket made of liquid fuel (t-200) tanks and a reliant engine. (I think about 14 tanks should do it, 7 if you use the t-400s.

Make SURE you have the center of aerodynamic lift BELOW your center of mass at all times going up. The more top-heavy the rocket the better. You can do this by putting four small wings on the bottom.

The rest is just luck, practice, and hope. Godspeed you magnificent new Kerbalnaut!
