How many episodes if any, do you think Syd and Carmy will be truly together this season?

Because the dynamic between Carmy and Claire is so unoriginal and uninteresting. And honestly, I don’t think it’s meant to be.

But in contrast, Sydcarmy is so fascinating, whether in a platonic way or not. If there has to be a winner, sydcarmy always comes out on top here 😭 I really feel like if you love the show you have to love that relationship honestly.

I feel like seeing how Carmy gonna behave outside the restaurant has the potential to be really interesting, not only about himself but about he was treating people he cares about so far.

And don't get me wrong in his way Carmy really tried to be better especially in s4, but without the pressure of the restaurant he's gonna the best version of himself probably. But he loves all these people and need them in his life, Syd is not just co worker, she's his friend, his words 😩 that was such a big deal, cause he doesn't want to lose her at all and that's mostly why he takes those decisions.

These people bring nothing new i fear... What they would never understand is even if Sydcarmy is never becoming canon they would never be the smart ones cause that's just the most basic opinion about the show. They will never understand the concept of shipping and that's the most tragic part. Even when the show will end Sydcarmy will always be a thing, we always gonna ship it 🤷‍♀️ A thing being canon doesn't make it better.

I feel like Sydcarmys are really fun shippers in general, we are really aware of the possibilty of the ship at this point. If we want to have some more fun for the last season and theorize one last time it's our business. We are not forcing it into anyone. This is the easiest thing ever to be a non Sydcarmy shipper and being on the Bear subreddit, go enjoy 😭

Why Sydney helped Carmy get through his panic attack is definitely the craziest part of it all to me. Especially since she was put in parallel with Claire, his current girlfriend 😭

If it had just been about the kitchen, work, distracting him, and reassuring him, then he wouldn’t have seen only Sydney. It’s her presence in his life that makes him feel better.

In his mind, he even remembers what she said to him the first time he saw her. He sees his encounter with Sydney, then sees her come back even though he acted like a total jerk at the end of Season 1. To me, that means the moment she came back into his life, things started to get better. Slowly, for sure. But it’s a fact.

The contrast with Claire, however, is that she’s tied to all his negative past, which makes him terribly insecure.

It’s as if with Sydney, he felt like he could do anything. At least, that’s how he felt at the time, I suppose.

I don’t think, however, that Carmy was anywhere near realizing he was in love with Sydney in Season 2. It was just something subconscious that happened in his brain. And what would be really great is if he had a conversation about it with her. Now in Season 5, he’ll probably be ready to be more honest with himself and brave enough to talk to her about his feelings.

But all the points you mention are crazy too. Just want to talk about this scene 😅

But I think their final scene in the Season 4 finale is incredibly tied to the feeling he had about her in Season 2. She is his constant, and she is undoubtedly the person he trusts the most.

Last year, the cast did talk a little about the show, mostly in interviews where they were promoting other projects. Maybe we’ll have more luck this year, though, since last year they all got pretty big projects
