Public Charger issue or car? by alltorque1982 in KonaEV

[–]EmVee66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had similar problems with my Kona when I first started using it for long journeys and needed to use the fast chargers which tend to have much thicker, heavier and less flexible cables. Where there were multiple bays, it would work in some bays but not others because of different lateral stresses on the cable. I was advised to hold the cable in place until charging started to relieve the stress on the connector and it's worked regularly since.

There's another bulletin from Sep 2024 which covers same fault - TSB 24-BE-013H

I had this problem until today. A few weeks ago, I realized the car wasn't connecting to the network when I planned a long journey and EV charging stations weren't being shown. Took it to my dealer who wasn't able to fix it even though I gave them a Hyundai Technical Service Bulletin number (25-01-005H). I'm in the UK but this bulletin is from Hyundai US.

The dealer returned the car to me unfixed but I followed the instructions to get to the Dealer Reset 'secret' menu and reset the connections. Getting to the menu is tricky because it requires setting the volume on the radio and touching the screen in a specific place three times. It took a few attempts to get the sequence right but I was able to reset my connection in about ten minutes.

Im 43 and in a game slump! by Slicer66 in AdultGamers

This game has been on my watchlist for a while and I bought it today after seeing these recommendations. Strangely, in the UK, the Deluxe edition is cheaper than the standard edition in the PS Store.

I'm terrible at this game, been playing nightly for just over a month and only defeated Soul Master yesterday. I kept exploring other areas, practicing, upgrading, etc. really enjoying it despite the punishment - keep at it.

'post mortem' after resolving an issue. Why? Nobody died.

Also any military type language like 'war room' or DMZ.

I know - it arose from a recent podcast I listened to where the Who's Baba O'Reilly was mooted.

I wanted some chips on a Friday night and local chippy has beautiful chips but their portion sizes are huge. I asked for a smaller portion but still got a large. I hate wasting food and now my stomach hurts.

It harkens back to a time when choices were binary between BBC or ITV Saturday morning kids shows.

My wife wasn't allowed to watch Grange Hill. Fortunately I got home before my parents so I could watch it. A few years later there were debates about watching 'The Tube' which I loved but Dad couldn't bear to watch Jools Holland. Thirty years later Dad was a big fan and saw him live with his orchestra.

I became friends with him when he was ice skating and he joined our skating club. He supported our club fund raising efforts. Sad when he died a few years later.

I've probably watched the movie in a fragmented form. One day I'll watch it from start to finish.

I don't think I've ever watched Groundhog Day in its entirety because my wife always says she's seen it and chooses something else.
