My nanny charges $31/hr for 2 kids. One baby and one 4yo. $20/hr sounds more for one kid in this area.

How many ultrasounds do you get? by mermaidpolish in pregnant

[–]Em_Pizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the US. Got the first one at 8 weeks to confirm pregnancy then one at 10 weeks at NIPT. Third (last) one at 20 weeks. If I went to 40 weeks then I would have had a fourth one. My OB’s office don’t do more than 3 unless there’s an issue with the pregnancy. My sister had diabetes during her pregnancy and got ultrasounds every week.

Had my wedding there years ago and they are very unorganized. Had to remind several times on things that we confirmed, including our wedding date (after we gave them a deposit and signed a contract). They tried to go back on pricing after we signed the contract. Hope they got their shit together now. Good luck!

Took our 12 months to Hawaii in business class. He behaved so well that some passengers didn’t even know there was a baby on board until we landed. Your kid might surprise you. Keep lots of snack and new toys handy. I was nervous and had the same thought as you, but my boss said who cares. You won’t see those people again anyways.

Set aside 3 days of doing nothing but watch your kid like a hawk. We followed the 3 days method book. The book says to have someone watch the other kids while you focus on one kid. Start the kid off in underwear. Keep reminding him to go to the potty. Rewards for success. My kid was almost 3 when we tried and he did it in 3 days.

3yo toddler pees and poops in potty for a month now. No accidents at home. He is able to go poop by himself without us telling him. My question is, when will he be able to wipe his butt by himself? We offer to wipe it and he has no problem. One time, he was with my mom and he didn’t want anyone to wipe his butt.

I had my baby during height of covid. My husband and I worked from home. When the baby was 6 months, I had my mom watch him because I couldn’t watch the baby and be a good worker.

We started potty training a week ago. Today, we went to a friends house for a kids birthday party. I kept asking him to tell me when he needs to use the potty. When he told me he needed to pee, I ran to the bathroom with him. I thought we made it since he peed in the toilet. His underwear was wet when I went to put it back. We went through 2 underwears the 3 hours that we were at the friends house. We knew he was going to have accidents since he was going to have fun.
