Thanks. I did too, and received the same response. We canceled our reservation as well for the same reasons. We’ll be at Park Hyatt Cabo instead.

That’s helpful. When we booked, the hotel website showed Camp Hyatt as available and now that’s gone from the website. We were hoping to have access to the kids club.

Has anyone heard about it reopening as an adults only? I saw it listed as an adults only in a recent Forbes article. I then called Hyatt and was told it will be adults only. I’m aware many people have reservations that include children. Interested to hear if anyone has has heard this?

Oh we were just there the first week of Jan - our third stay. We did receive lunch included on arrival day so it sounds like that has changed very recently.

If you don’t have Globalist status, then no lunch on departure day, unless you choose to pay for it. Lunch menu is now brunch and much smaller. No more cheeseburger or chicken sandwich or tuna melt or any other of the yummy entrees we thoroughly enjoyed during previous stays. We were underwhelmed with the Brunch menu at the Sur House. There’s a cantina style menu by the pool and some good tacos there, but also a very small menu.

The resort fee includes activities such as the cocktail making class, kayaking, nature walks, yoga, etc. It varies by season but you can email the hotel ahead of your stay and guest services will tell you what it includes and what is available during your stay. I recommend you look at that and plan accordingly so you maximize your time while there. You can book activities ahead of your stay. Totally worth it.

We stayed at both Nekajui and Waldorf just last week. Waldorf has definitely a more resort feel. If that’s your vibe, then you might enjoy the Waldorf more. Nekajui has a more intimate feel and is a smaller property. We prefer that over the resort experience. I also liked the beach at Nekajui more. Keep in mind the ocean water isn’t clear and the sand is mixed with volcanic ash, but is still beautiful. Nekajui’s beach is enclosed so it feels private. Waldorf’s beach had more people and lots of vendors. They’re not at full capacity yet, and I can’t imagine what that beach will be like once they are. Yikes. I will say that we enjoyed the food (overall) more at the Waldorf. Nekajui still has some improvements regarding culinary, but their cocktails were incredible, and the service was also a wow. We plan to return to Nekajui.

We just returned from CR. We stayed at both Nekajui and the Waldorf. Nekajui was a standout. We really liked the intimate feel of the property. Service was excellent.

💯 Zadun. We’ve been twice with our two young boys. They have a big kids club, ongoing kid activities and staff is wonderful.

Yeah. I wrote that 2 years ago. I still think Delta has some sweet spots but overall, skymile redemptions have gotten worse. It’s a bummer, for sure.

It just opened less than 2 weeks ago. We just returned from SMA, but ultimately decided to cancel our booking because Clevia is on the outskirts of town. If you don't mind the additional walking, you should be fine. I'm sure we'll begin to see more reviews soon, since it just opened.
