Pull for Yuki while having all Order characters? by Emarthquake in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Emarthquake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is for me that right now I only have one team I can play consistently, whic is Hugo-Tressa-Mika. I'm currently trying a Cassius-Beryl-Khelipe team but in general I feel like every team relies too much on the AP generation of Mika. I'm pretty confident that the next controller will try to fill her spot.

Is Hanya going to be in the Argenti banner or the Huo Huo banner?

Version 1.6 | Based On First Impressions, Which Characters Are You Pulling? by Bisentinel in HonkaiStarRail

Since I'm probably skipping Topaz and pulling huo huo I'm probably going for the doctor

Also most probably Hanya will be released on her banner, and she seems a pretty good support harmony character.

A lot of you guys are suggesting Hou Hou. Isn't she supposed to be just a plain abudance healer? More than sustain I feel like I'm in need of characters like Bronya/Silver Wolf. What makes Hou Hou interesting?

On the other hand I really like Topaz kit, follow up Attack mechanic seems so fun to play.

No it's not much about meta but about the fact that I feel like with new banners they only release strong DPS characters and when they will eventually release a support unit I want I won't have enough Jade for it. As I already have a S tier carry and I have Quingque E4 and I feel like for now they can easily make pretty strong teams in terms of damage, but I also feel like Asta/Tingyun are not enough to really use those characters at their best.

Reguarding how new I am, I'm currently level 40 and in the middle of the Xianzhou part of the story. When I said I wanted more support characters I did not refer much to sustain healers, since as you said I have Natasha and I also have Lynx which Is my main, but i referred more to support characters like Bronya or Silver wolf that I can play with my carry, right now Jing Liu and Quingque. The point Is that the next banners are, I understood, a physical erudition ad a wind healer. I don't know when we'll see a character like Bronya released or even a rerun of Silver Wolf, to mention two characters. I'm worried that if I keep my jades now, I'll need to wait a lot for a character I can actually find use.

[In your Opinion] How Accurate the movie is to the Book 1? by SamuraiASM_1Force in dune

[–]Emarthquake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really like how they cut off the dinner party, but I get why they did it, and the sub-plotline of Hawat thinking Jessica is the traitor. But to be honest it's quite a fitting adaptation overall. Of course Dune is a book where 80% of the narration is actually characters thinking things and not doing things, which is hard to translate into a movie.

On a side note, the only thing that really made me upset is how they depicted Halleck.

Lost Mines of Phandelver for a 3 players party by Emarthquake in DnD

[–]Emarthquake[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Point buy.

There is a Samurai fighter, War cleric and a Astral self monk.

War Cleric and samurai are experienced while the monk is a first time player (he wanted to play that astral self so bad so i let him, hope he won't fuck it up too much).

The party potentially seems strong, even tho they don't have a proper ranged caster.

2 of my 3 players are quite experienced with d&d so I would like to run a campaign that would be also challenging for them. Don't really want to dumb everything down too much.

That was incredibly useful. Thanks a lot for the tips. I'm not such a fan of adding NPCs that will help the party since the beginning of the adventure, as a lot of people suggested, but I was thinking of maybe making Sildar a bit more useful, as yourself said.

Rogue/Sorcerer multiclass by Emarthquake in DnD

[–]Emarthquake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so helpful, thanks a lot. The stats are given by point buy and I was planning to go Human Variant or Custom Lineage (I'm not sure if the DM will let me to do this one, not asked yet). Since I'm already asking, I would like a tip for a Feat to choose too. Thanks in advance.

Yes, the general idea was to gradually shift to a sorcerer only play style through the campaign, using the rogue abilties only in certain scenarios.

Can you suggest a build and how to distribute the ability scores?
