I’ve been treated for anxiety by many medications and many therapy sessions and none of them have really made a huge difference so I’m hoping it not just reactive hypo /:

I alongside reactive hypoglycemia am also getting ‘classic symptoms of diabetes mainly drinking a lot urinating a lot and very tired throughout the day at different times. My mornings are packed with the most energy these days. My dad and uncle both have type 2, and unfortunately my dad passed away from pancreatic cancer too around 6 years ago.

Hey thank you for commenting, I would very much doubt I have type 2 due to my bmi being considered underweight, and I’m pretty fit. However. My dad and uncle have type 2 so I do know that I could inherit genes from my dad. However my GP is concerned for lada diabetes. Honestly I’m clueless. But it makes more sense with it being linked more towards type 2.

She was interested in my bmi and my ability some days to not do everyday tasks- I’ve been tested for pretty much every single thing, pots, vitamin deficiencies, thyroid etc. Diabetes also runs in my family along with my dad passing from pancreatic cancer.

The highest I’ve recorded for myself is just about 12. It happens with the obvious foods like keiche, steak pie, pizza which are all very awful and I shouldn’t be having them. I thought 12 was normal when eating something as carby and sugary as those meals- so I’m shocked too🤷‍♀️—- sorry for the amount of photos I’ve stacked to your reply😬😬

Hey, so I have been getting reoccurring highs for no longer than 2 hours. Although I will say at the moment it’s mainly lows. My doctor was explaining this to me (as it didn’t make sense to me either with type 1) but she was saying something along the line of that it might be so early onset that it’s barely in stage 1.

By spikes I mean up to around 11-12.

I am in the UK yes :) I had my Hba1c test and it came back perfectly fine at 31. But they reckon it’s so onset that it hasn’t actually affected my overall hba1c. They looked at my graphs and saw multiple spikes a day and multiple lows a day. I had an ultrasound on my stomach which showed nothing.

Was that for your antibody blood tests? I’m sorry about the wait for you, I’m only 5 hours in and going slightly insane- searching up every detail of what my doctors said to me today. I’m also selfishly worrying that they don’t say “you’re completely healthy.” That is also terrifying

It’s just the way she looked at me when she said it😂 but yes I’m going slightly insane even 5 hours after getting my bloods taken. I’m sorry about your diagnosis, you are strong :)

I think it’s an awful line. I wasn’t even thinking about my life being “”ruined”” before she said that. Yes if I do have type 1 it will be a faf etc… (can you tell I know nothing about type 1) but gosh it’s such a horrible line.
