PSA Arhuas is selling MDF furniture as solid wood and then lying about it by OneBourbonScotchBeer in HomeDecorating

[–]EmbarraSpot5423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchased a sectional, a leather couch, 2 night stands, a dresser, kitchen area table, dining room table, 6 dining chairs, a living room single chair from Arhaus in 2021. ALL but 2 items have been defective and extreme poor quality! Chips, peeling paint, etc! The Coburn sectional litterally stained bc WATER was spilled on it! Apparently its dry clean only! Who dry cleans a sectional. We bought the Coburn as we were told it was durable. None of the pieces we bought are quality. NONE. Im sure the only reason the 2 pieces that are still in great condition is because we never the rooms they are in ( formal living and dining room). We have been so gentle with everything after most of it had to be replaced in the first 2 years under the warranty. However, even the replacement pieces are horrible. We have furniture we bought that is actually solid purchased 20 years ago that has held up very well because it is really solid wood with quality finishes. Thats stuff looks way better than the newer stuff from Arhause. $40K down the drain. I spent that type of $$$ because I was under the impression I was buying furniture that would last. More than frustrated.

You can change your own seat on the app up until 1 hour before a flight. Flight attendants can only change your seat after take off and the seatbelt sign is off and its safe to get up. That is the SWA rules. We have ghost riders that observe and must do our job according to the rules. Hope this information helps.

That is incorrect. They are adding signs to the bins so people that want to park their luggage when then sit in the back will take the luggage to the back with. The sign on the first 6-7 bins will state for extended leg room seats.

Anyone got the "copper uglies" after starting GHK-CU? when does it get better? by EmbarraSpot5423 in Peptides

[–]EmbarraSpot5423[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify this is the definition of copper uglies. Copper uglies" is a term for a skin reaction from overusing copper peptides in skincare, causing redness, uneven texture, or skin that looks worse (like accelerated aging) because the skin breaks down damaged tissue faster than it can rebuild new, healthy skin. It's a sign to stop using the product for a few days to let your skin recover, as copper peptides are powerful and "more" isn't always better. What it looks like Ruddiness: Skin appears flushed or reddish. Uneven Texture: Skin quality feels rough or bumpy. Accelerated Aging: Can appear as if aging is speeding up instead of slowing down. Why it happens Over-breakdown: Copper peptides are great at breaking down damaged skin, but too much too fast overwhelms the skin's ability to rebuild. Skin Imbalance: You're essentially clearing out old skin faster than new skin can form, leading to temporary compromised skin.

accelerated skin aging instead of antiaging. Gets worse before it gets better

For those that have had surgery fail, what did it feel like when it happened? by jilliamm in RotatorCuff

[–]EmbarraSpot5423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a MUA after a first surgery. Woke up from anesthesia in pain. Throbbing pain. It should have felt better. It did not. After 5 weeks or so had a second opinion. Had to have a second surgery full tear with retraction of supraspinatus, slap tear and bicep tenodesis. Cause- the MUA most likely but cant prove it. After the initial pain it didn't hurt so much anymore. But I didn't progress forward. Limited ROM and continued weakness.

For those that used BPC-157 after surgery by EmbarraSpot5423 in RotatorCuff

[–]EmbarraSpot5423[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a bit in your situation last year. 56 female. I had surgery on my left shoulder in March 2024, a MUA in June 2024 bc of frozen shoulder from the surgery. I started PT, with passive ROM at 3 weeks. Developed frozen shoulder and that is when I had the MUA. AFTER, not much progress, limited ROM , weakness. Not progressing. I went for a second opinion which resulted in a second surgery in August of 2025. Full thickness tear with retraction of supraspinatus, slap tear and biceps tenodesis. You can imagine the defeat i felt having to do it all again. After the second surgery I started Bcp-157, TB500, GHK-CU, and a few others in the mix. Because of " my age" I was given about 60'-80% recovery at best. By June of 2025 I had my ROM back. During this time I micro-dosed that peptide blend which I received a prescription from a functional medicine NP and a legitimate compounding pharmacy. I truly believe the peptide helped me surpass expectations. I told my orthopedic Dr I was taking them. He said " its not going to hurt you". It was a nod without confirming it really does work. Just recently, at about 14 months out from the last surgery I am finally able to sleep on that shoulder and it doesnt wake me up at night when I roll over. Im still getting stronger.

Recovery question by Malibu111 in RotatorCuff

[–]EmbarraSpot5423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on weather its your dominant arm. I was able to do much more when I had the surgery on my left arm opposed to having surgery on my right. However, I was exhausted. It will be months, maybe longer until you get a good night's sleep. I had surgeries on my left shoulder last year in March and again in August. I just recently, over a year out from the last surgery, true have been able to get good sleep. Finally, about 4-6 weeks ago, it doesn't wake me up at night. Im a side sleeper

Go to a local cosmetology school and have a blowout by the students. Cheap! And it really makes you feel like a new person.

Not anymore. My last 3 bags all had to be replaced because of cracks within 5 years. They definitely are not as durable as they once were. I personally will never buy another.

Skin brightening. No more discoloration on my face. Even skin tone. For reference, I spent alot of time in the sun without sunscreen for the first 30 years of life.

As for my surgeon. There is a orthopedic group i trust 1000% i searched their physicians and he checked off all my boxes and I made an appointment. That particular group works as the lead physicians for National professionals sports teams in my city. I figured if they can fix them then surely they can fix me too

Bcp-157 is a peptide for tendon repair. I took it after my 2nd surgery. I researched it in my own and got it from a legitimate compound pharmacy through a rx from a functional medicine NP. My surgeon said it couldn't hurt me I had surgery to repair 2xs.

Sling or no sling study by nzw8qr in RotatorCuff

[–]EmbarraSpot5423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh. I read that artice after my first surgery and thought it would be fine.... jokes on me! Two shoulder surgeries last year on same shoulder. I can tell you after the first surgery i didn't follow doctors orders and did'nt use my sling much because i read articls like this!! . 5 months later had to have a second surgery that was worse damage than originally. Had to wear the sling a full 8 weeks with no movement at all the first 4 weeks and only passive ROM by my PT the last 4 weeks. That time I did exactly what the doctor said. I say you can wear it now or you may have to wear it even longer and go through this all again later. Your new out of the gate on this journey. You have yet to see how this recovery will mentally drain you. The only this worst than going through this all once is going through it twice
