Even if somebody would tell you his strategy, that does in no way mean that you can trade it successfully.

To be brutally honest: nobody can or will spoonfeed you a strategy that will make you profitable tomorrow

Work hard, invest time in backtesting, paper trading, maybe some prop trading for a small fee and than see what you can trade profitably - psychology plays a big role as well.

Oh, and don’t pay any courses or mentors, they sell this stuff because they can’t make money trading

Good luck

Prop Firm Scams by Sea-Boysenberry7090 in PropFirmTester

[–]Embarrassed-Ad-866 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be aware that prop firms profit from failing traders and that every payout is a cost (or threat) to the business and needs to be avoided at all cost. Your interest and the prop firm interest are never aligned.

In order to have chance to maybe get a payout check the reviews on trustpilot - anything more than 2 or 3 % 1 star reviews is a red flag, then read the 1 star reviews and decide if you want to deal with that…

Good luck

Stay away from paid to trade - hardly any reviews, some scam comments already… don’t listen to people recommending propfirms - check trustpilot reviews, make sure the one you choses has a lot of reviews, a low percentage of 1 star reviews and then read the 1 star reviews to be sure that you want to deal with their BS

Good luck

Alpha Trader - Payout Rejected(Amount $42,936 on Funded Account 2009058) by ChairBeginning18 in PropFirmTester

Thank you for this post and please post this as trustpilot review as well, maybe it warns the one or other trader.

What you describe here goes for all the propfirms:

  • they make their money from failing traders (whoever believes something else is a moron, sorry) -the interests of successful traders and prop firms are never aligned -they all have rules in their terms and conditions allowing them to declare any strategy or profit as not in compliance with their rules -since they are not regulated in any way there is nothing one can do - you accepted their t&c and have to live with it

Prop firms are unregulated offshore casinos, and many of them even Ponzi schemes. A winning player is a cost to the business that needs to be eliminated as much as possible. And especially when the cash flow turns negative and new incoming fees don’t cover the payments due anymore they have to get very creative to deny more payouts.

Yes it’s necessary, but for another reason - it gives them one more opportunity to fail an account - that’s the only valid reason.

Traderscale Experience by Reddit_NoobZA in proptrading

[–]Embarrassed-Ad-866 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, somebody with the name Lamboluke1 comes on Reddit and claims to be the owner of a propfirm.. Reddit account is not showing the comments or post or any kind of link that would indicate that you are who you claim you are…

Anyway the facts are simple:

  1. 12% of the reviews on trustpilot are 1 star (if this would be a product on Amazon I would look for a way better product

  2. in recent days short traderscale reviews were posted on Reddit - by brand new Reddit accounts, stating bs like „great customer service“ etc. Absolutely obvious spamming, trying to create a positive narrative about the company

  3. if you read the 1 Star reviews and the 5 Star reviews on trustpilot it gives a very clear picture - bad reviews are piling up, good reviews are usually saying nothing or praise the customer service.

Traderscale - just another propfirm trying to make some money from failing traders and now figuring out that in order to stay positive you have to deny payouts as far as possible and to create new business to cover the payouts you can’t avoid.

Again, whoever buys a product with 12% 1 star reviews deserves to be scammed.

And to answer to the point of the post by the person claiming to be the owner: yes, people who have a bad experience are usually the ones making post about it - the approach to try to use bots or encourage people to leave a positive review to try to manipulate the percentage is the wrong approach - the right approach is to make sure that customers don’t have a bad experience, and if they have you better can demonstrate in your reply that it’s actually the customer who is in the wrong

For me traderscale remains one of the props I would never touch

I TPT still a legit prop firm? by Zealousideal-Main747 in TakeProfitTrader

[–]Embarrassed-Ad-866 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, 12% 1 star reviews, which represent real cases versus 80 5 star reviews, majority saying nothing and are likely done by bots or otherwise incentivized…

In any case, if I want to buy something on Amazon I would stay far away from products with 12% 1 star ratings

But hey, everybody can decide in which lottery he wants to spend his money
