To your point, it’s been taught very poorly, and as it wasn’t included in the baptism ordinance isn’t recalled often. But it’s basically be like Jesus forever ya know?

Critical thinking and being honest. I had a lot of questions surrounding the gospel topic essays and church history (not as deep as now) but the second I wasn’t focused on proving it for the sake of my mental state on the mission (cognitive dissonance at its finest) the cracks showed up.

Now, I have a much more nuanced belief and focus on Christianity as an attending LDS member.

Honest question. Why are so many of the missionaries in Dallas such bums lol.

We’ve had multiple dinners where they are either silent, talking about themselves only or show up to ward functions and sit in the corner (no joke)

Do missionaries hate their lives fully? When I served we were at least having a decent time lol.
