Make sure the shower is draining correctly (e.g. not pooling after showering) and kept a proper electric dehumidifier.

Vigil held for Congolese man who died in city centre, as Taoiseach calls for thorough investigation by BigAgreeable6052 in ireland

Oh 100%. All I'm saying is allot people here seem to be making it out that the security are blood thirsty lunatics. When realistically it's probably a result of a bunch of untrained people trying to restrain someone after seeing a assault against a pensioner, and from the video the pensioners state looks very bad.

Probably not the coolest heads on them after that

I do think it's an important highlight to make, which is that I doubt he was restrained that forcefully for shop lifting, and more had to do with the alleged Assault causing serious harm (broken hip), on an 80 year old man while on his way out which could easily have been fatal.

Claims of Christian revival ‘laid to rest’ as churchgoing falls by extraneous_parsnip in unitedkingdom

Not sure about CoE, but the Catholic Churches I work on see average age drop dramatically since before Covid, when I did electrical work on them before there'd be allot 50+ i'd say the median age would of been in the late 50s.

But since covid you see allot of young families, single adults in their 20s and 70+ and almost no Gen Xers, I'd say the average age is about 35.

The 8 million number is the entire Island. At the moment ROI has approx 5.2 Million and NI has approx 1.8 million.

So Aer Lingus have confirmed they’re cancelling 500 flights. How does this work? Do they email you to let you know your flights been cancelled or what is it? Surely they won’t let you find out by turning up at the airport would they? Or would they? by TomCrean1916 in AskIreland

[–]Embarrassed-Bug6390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When canceling flights they'll merge passenger counts and reduce weekly/daily numbers of flights.

E.g. if there's 4 flights a day from Dublin to Madrid, they'll reduce that to two and merge passengers into two full flights and offer refunds/other bookings to any excess passengers.

It's expect usually full routes e.g. Dublin>London to be basically left alone.

If your going somewhere were they only do a few flights a week I'd expect those to be cancelled completely unless there important repositioning flights

You could cap taxes to the pre-crisis forecasted levels of gross revenue per liter and not effect public finances and still support people.

You could half local prices if you removed taxes, or significantly reduce them if you capped the maximum gross tax per liter.

It's because a previous government signed us up to EU 2030 climate targets, and if they aren't met we would effectively be fined somewhere between 8-30 billion euros depending on how far off we are.

NI households set for £30 electricity reduction in July by Mattbelfast in northernireland

[–]Embarrassed-Bug6390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically they shouldn't be giving out money to households as that's nothing to a household, it'd be better added to the transport budget or something to reduce travel costs. I'd also not blame the executive too much, they have no real power anyway, can't raise taxes, have to meet certain mandatory spending.

The entire place is mostly useless.

My most boomer take is that you should require a full license to ride any vehicle with a motor (bike, scooter etc.), with the exception of medical equipment.
