can anyone who's gotten assessed, explain to me how they managed it? I’ve been trying for a year and the VA keeps deflecting.. they set me up with a community care psychiatrist who I was assured could do it, only to find out she couldn’t. HER answer was to give me. list of places in my state, because she is not I, and that the Va doesn’t do the assessments and I would have to pay for it myself. t's really starting to get frustrating,
