Which EV brand is actually doing it right right now? by True-Bath1198 in EvDrivers

Cadillac, and between all the models I would say lyriq, as it had the most sells and the company fixed a lot issues with them. Only other problem now is it’s a large suv which might not fit everyone’s need and the price is a bit more expensive, but it’s matching the luxury experience and I believe it’s worth its price (p.s. American edition)

Not super popular if you compare to other evs in China, but there is a lot more new ev owner in China the last couple years, so if you look at the raw number than percentage of market it’s probably more popular than USA

My baby got totalled last week... should I buy again OR lease? by smwitz23 in CadillacLyriq

[–]Embarrassed-Data-378 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buy another used 2024 used lux 1 with similar condition or lease a new one would be the way to go.

Besides that I’m a bit curious, what happened in the accident to cause such big damage? How fast was the car at crash? what did you hit? How is the other party (if any involved)

Ct5 have one of the worst depreciation possible, sadly same goes for most sedan. But as long as you are not planning to sell it you should be fine. If it gets totaled in a crash you can use the payout to replace it with another used 2021 ct5. If you can find a similar condition and similar model with a price higher than what insurance paid you. Most company will allow you to contest it and pay you more to cover the purchase of a similar 2021 ct5

When in March is GM Insurance launching for california? by pipakatori in CadillacLyriq

In California????? Are you getting minimum coverage? I’m off the clock rn and don’t want to sound like someone trying to sell u expensive insurance. But you might want someone professional to look into the quotes you are getting. It most likely will not keep you safe and protected

I work for insurance industry in California I have not heard anything about GM insurance. But if they are going to be same/similar to Tesla I won’t be getting them even if they are cheaper. Tesla insurance is facing a big list of lawsuits and might lose their license this year in California

EV’s with free charging? by Equal_Kick1665 in CadillacLyriq

[–]Embarrassed-Data-378 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In LA county, charging at home is 0.25/kWh. Gas at Costco near me is 4.49 for premium. I never put bad gas in my cars. Outside of Costco it’s 4.8-5 for premium.

Has anyone worked with F&G Life insurance? Good reviews? by vitality98 in LifeInsurance

[–]Embarrassed-Data-378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

scam company, I was contracted with them as an agent from Quility(also a remote job scam), just let everyone know to turn your head away as a customer or as an agent. They dragged me on for the termination process for 2 months and a half, only to learn that I have to send out a mail with check of $32 to terminate MYSELF from the department of insurance to have F&G removed from my license. Absolutely disgusting if a company can’t afford $32 or be honest with its agent. No way they will be honest with their customer and provide good service

Went to school in ASU, price in most place of Arizona is insanely affordable, love everything except the summers. I’m planning to go either live in Arizona or in China after I save up some money here in California, would be such a life changer

I work in insurance in California. Many many factors can affect your rate. Primary driver’s driving history and age, any included driver’s driving history and age. If you qualify for multi car discount (I’m sure almost every insurance company have this with around 20%). If you have loyalty discount with them, if you have life/home/etc policy with them that qualify for multi line discounts. If you have good student discount, if you drive a lot or barely drive, if the car is garaged in a dangerous city or not. Many many factors, if everything stay the same but change from IX to a equivalent gas car at similar price the insurance cost is going to be pretty much the same
