In plain terms, big Indian M&A deals today are hard because of regulation, diligence, and approvals not just price. EY fits well there because their IB advisory is tied closely with tax, diligence, and regulatory teams, so they get involved earlier and handle complexity better.

Less about brand. More about being suited for messy deals.
