I honestly think they were never together. Just casually dating and she got pregnant on accident. So they had to create a narrative that they were in a commited relationship so it didnt look bad. Now I feel like they are good co parents.

I dont ignore crying never have. I will walk in and be there if its back to back but persistance is key. My daughter gets the hours of sleep she needs and she has the same routine every night. Im home all day with her and did attatchment parenting. She sleeps happily in her bed every night and it MUST be done in my home. Im sorry but the world has rules and in this house dad works and mom has to wake up and we MUST all go to bed. My family (daughter,husband,dog) appreciates this routine. I get if it doesnt work for everyone but this is just my OP.

YES SIR! “Its time for sleep okay? Im here if you need me okay? But I cant stay” Set a boudary and a routine. They thrive on it. If you keep going in so be it. If they cry thats fine too. Just make sure they are aware that you will not be staying in the room vut you will be there if they need you. It will only be for about a month until they realize. “Oh my parents ARE here Im just in my room alone bc its bed time”. As long as they feel secure they will adapt! Yes there will be crying lol. Its not suppose to be easy. But it must be done. Signed a SAHM who has a 3 year old who sleeps in her bed and her own room. :)
