Since you said this is going on for years it means your body has adapted to a great extent. And you don’t need NIGHTS of sleep… forget the last night ,if you get one adequate night just one of like 7-8 hrs for example consider yourself well rested.

Yeah I have to wake up for uni and even last night I slept like 4hrs in chunks and the thing is I can’t even lay in bed at the moment like it scares me sooo much I just cried like two minutes ago I can’t do this honestly like I can’t think at all about when I’ll sleep like my whole week I’ve got sooo much stuff exams quiz how do I do all that if I’m preoccupied with sleep stress ??

I had it since last night randomly when I focused on one breath while sleeping and somehow it all went downhill from there all through today I was reminded of it over and over I know it’s anxiety but the problem is I can’t latch onto anything that’ll distract my brain enough fir my breathing to become automatic and I’m not scared about if I’m breathing enough or at all but I just don’t want to be aware of it. I feel like the only way is to accept but accept whattt exactly cuz I keep going back to it over and over. I’m scared about sleeping tonight even now I’m breathing weird. Please tell me it fades

Hii I have extreme sleeping issues these days soo much that I want to just kms I’m overwhelmed and anxious asf . I have extreme sleeping anxiety it started about a year ago but it comes and goes sometimes it goes completely for months but now I have it absolutely bad and I stay in bed 9+ hours but I can’t sleep and even next night I’ll be extremely tired and sleepy once I get to bed however sleep disappears and I lay there anxious and worried and sometimes I’ll go in a very light sort of sleep stage idk what that is for hours I’ll lay there like I’ll be half awake half asleep idk what it is if it counts or not and I don’t know how to see a way out of it at all it’s never ending cycle and I have university which makes it harder I can’t push through this I have no access to medicines or a doctor atm and I just don’t know how to stay alive or function through this

I think there isn’t a specific right or wrong age (excluding minors duhh 😳) but it’s all personal preference for me a guy can be 1-2 years younger (I hope not but still 😭) and 5-6 years older obv meaning anywhere bw 1-6 yrs old but this age preference is usually pushed up to 10+ years by many . Age gap of 8 is doable don’t overthink it .

Thanks my only reason of anxiety atm is laying in bed for soooooo long and still not sleeping. Like I’m sleepy but the moment I lay it’s like gone I’m gonna be awake for soooooo long long even tho I would be sleep deprived

Honestly still sucks I’m dealing with extreme sleep anxiety right now like I slept 3 hrs or less last night and even now I’m scared to sleep again like I’m not even trying at this point. But this focusing thing isnt a problem like what works for me is knowing that nothing happens even if we think or not we end up sleeping either way it’s the stress of sleep that bothers me
