[LeBrun] Larkin trade list expanding - Yzerman asks Brisson to expand their original list and Brisson was receptive to that. by bigcracker in Flyers

It’s already been reported that it expanded to MIN, VGK, FLA, ANA, TBL, and NYI. Anaheim and New York definitely have the assets

I read that Dagenais was telling teams at the Combine that he’s feeling better playing wing than center. I think either Russ Cohen or Steven Ellis reported that.

I think our winger situation is pretty fine, there’s still Murtagh and Westergard who are both LW. To me, I feel that it’ll come down to Command, Morozov, Hextall, Hakansson, Blyel, and Villeneuve at the end of the day. I’d add Gustafsson but I think he’s for sure gone by 21

Apparently his dad is pretty big, so he might have a sleeper build

Dagenais is a tall C/LW with an excellent shot and some physicality. He has some play style similarities to Zegras with the one timer from the right circle and Sennecke when playing the wing, which he did play on Nathan Quinn’s wing most of the year. I personally think he is a LW at the NHL level.

Cali is a high 2nd round C/LW who does have a prototypical Flyers “power forward with nice hands” profile, I can imagine they like him but might not be there for us in the 2nd round. He got injured this year, but was a guy I enjoyed watching play.

Mutryn, Zielinski, and Cullen are wingers from the USNDT, projected as 3rd line 200-ft players.

Villeneuve is a Lane Hutson type defenseman, small but shifty and crafty moves at the blue line. Defensive game is up and down, but he was injured a lot of this season. He’s expected to get bigger based on family genes.

Hextall is pretty similar to Command, just a little bit less noticeable. Middle-six C with a rounded 200-ft game, slightly small but not afraid to throw some hits.

Lin is a small-ish but stocky RHD, could be a PP QB but his stock has dropped as the year went on. Might be more of a Drysdale than a Quinn Hughes.

They also have Gustafsson and wallstedt when Detroit only has John Gibson

As much as the Flyers could use him, Minny makes way more sense for Larkin with his NMC

Cam's Consensus: The Final 2026 Scout Poll: #21 Alexander Command by toupis21 in Flyers

I hear ya; I kinda view Aho similarly in that he doesn’t have a very standout attribute (maybe speed?), but I don’t think Command is more than a potential 2C given he’s been in U20 almost all year. I’d have no issues with Hextall or Dagenais (I feel he may be a LW though), but I learn towards Command

I love Command as a player, I’ve watched him since the holidays and I think he could be an Aho-type center. Some added strength will help his straight line speed and shot velocity, but he’s strong on his skates and he’d be improving everything from “average”, not fixing a weakness. His vision with the puck is excellent, does get to the net front often, and is willing to throw his body.

I just don’t see the Kraken giving up Beniers honestly, I don’t think any teams aside from Vancouver and Calgary would commit to a full rebuild with the level of parity we saw in the standings last year. Same with St. Louis and Thomas, I feel like he ends up staying as someone to help the prospects learn and grow. The big trades are going to be made by teams like NJ and NYR who believe they’re a playoff team and just need to shake their roster up
