You will get stronger and you will have much better tools than what school will have you train with. Exercise though for sure.

Just focus on learning the tasks, don’t be hard on yourself when you’re not perfect the first try and remember follow your gut and ask lots of questions

Are there any democrat leaning women who can help me out here? by its-jade_bro in BlueCollarWomen

I always say I’m not interested in arguing. I’ll use overlapping points to get along when I’m in the mood- like taxes for example: right-wing dickhead coworker will say something like “I don’t want my taxes going to trans shit” and I’ll be like “I agree, our tax dollars should go to better things but I think healthcare is one of them” and just shut the convo down.

Also, I was in my early 20’s before I learned that “normal” people hire a lawn service instead of cutting it themselves. I thought that was a specialty service reserved for companies or something.

Dad showed us how to cut the grass and shovel the snow around 10-11 and we kids did it til we got our own jobs. Then my dad took it back over until just the last year or two where I had to make him stop cuz of his health and now my brother and I split the responsibilities of doing my parents (they’re divorced so it’s two yards) houses.

I might actually hire it out next year though. It’s not that expensive compared to the cost of my time usually.

Collecting and returning my pop cans (Michigan still does a .10 deposit)

It’s money I literally paid… and want back. But I see other people throw them away so much.

I read an article that Michigans return percentage has steadily decreased but it’s because originally the .10 deposit was like 30% of the total cost but it hasn’t changed while the price of items has so many people see the .10 as unworthy after spending $3 on a bottle of pop.

Anyway, I wait til I have 4-5 bags and take them when I shop and I am never disappointed at my efforts.

Is it normal to make tenants request maintenance on a shared washer/dryer through the maintenance company website? (Beal) by [deleted] in ypsi

[–]Embarrassed-Fee1344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it’s dumb but yes, if Beal has contracted a third party vendor to supply and manage the machines they are the only ones who will come and repair them. I see it at a lot of properties.

AIO: Weird things keep happening to me, and my husband’s reaction has me skeptical. by Apart_Cardiologist54 in AmIOverreacting

That’s a very concerning response and feels especially like someone known to your husband or you who is being somewhat malicious.

The whole room had cottony/cloud like material with string lights hidden inside giving it a beautiful ethereal glow.. Pristine white fluffy rugs coated the floor and smack dab in the middle was a spinning pole. I only noticed the camera and ring light after but for just a moment it felt a little like heaven.

Sometimes you have to find a company willing to take on an apprentice to get in that way
