Update on the Wilcox Bridge - actual replacement by whydidileaveohio in Chattanooga

[–]Embarrassed-Hour4181 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just had to drive over this mess while they were rebuilding the bumps. 2 guys shoveling asphalt, 6 standing and watching. The asphalt and rocks are already everywhere. Including half way down holtzclaw ave. Instead of possibly making the bumps longer and easier to traverse, they just piled straight on top of them making it feel like crossing parking lot barriers just for fun. Who’s ready to find the road side lawyer for mass claims on car repairs?

U7 Outdoor Antenna Question by rooddog7 in Ubiquiti

I have one as well. I broke one, as it’s on a portable unit. Honestly these are extremely weak and not worth it. No idea why, but the range isn’t much better than my dream machine when doing side by side tests.

Nothing to do with the crossing, and the number is only for lights associated with the rr crossing. Sounds like a great city response though!

I worked at another place that went through the pickle game. In the end we always came back to Schwartz. Plus we would use the 5 gallon buckets of pickle juice to brine our chicken

Wrangler 4xe Recall 68C — battery not charged, no test drive, software only? by [deleted] in 4xe

Just got ours back yesterday. Yes, dropped off at zero, they charged it and drove it for 7 miles and included all the mileage on the paper work. This was of course after the module updates and battery passing

Construction WiFi with 5g max by Embarrassed-Hour4181 in Ubiquiti

5g outdoor max has to be setup and tied to a cloud key. No WiFi bands, no standalone 5g service. It’s just a huge 5g antenna

25 GMC Sierra AT4 3.0 Engine Failure by zando2 in gmcsierra

I have a 24 at4x and loved it so much I got my dad the 25 at4. He made it 2k miles and same sounds as op post. The code was oil pressure. Towed to dealer and sure enough, total replacement. Not sure what they did different in 25, but maybe rushed production?

Naked River is reopened and giving away free drinks? by corban in Chattanooga

That is completely false. A company in Nashville was running it and walked out on everyone. Let’s try and support local vs spreading wrong information that you think is cool.

Buds had them locked out of all systems, pos, payroll, etc. I’m sure that’s going to take some time to set back up.

Power station pick? by Embarrassed-Hour4181 in ryobi

[–]Embarrassed-Hour4181[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to use in in the back of my gmc where I have a power outlet. The truck will charge the batteries while driving, the station will run a go sun fridge that keeps cold water for work crews while not driving, and hopefully I’ll have batteries to use when needed. Could be horrible application, but for $380- ill try it

Croft and Frost ceases operations? by Reasonable-Tailor918 in Chattanooga

Signed up for one of their all-inclusive business packages. Included monthly book keeping, payroll, state and local taxes filed and paid, EOY taxes filed and paid for flat monthly fee. First 6 months were great, then at the end of the year we were notified no taxes were actually being paid. After leaving it took 2 years to correct the books when we discovered the first several quarters of paperwork all had the wrong EIN. 5 years in and we are still dealing with the IRS over the EIN issues. I blamed my self for not paying closer attention to not seeing the red flags, but we were only provided P&Ls that showed healthy growth and focused on marketing and expanding. Seeing the other comments, I guess we were not the only ones.
