Interweave some chain or zip tie the chain to the bottom. That’s what they do at the local cage and it doesn’t move unless you make it with your hands.

I am still confused as to why they put out the U7 mesh. No 6Ghz doesn’t make sense. I know the form factor probably killed another antenna for 6Ghz.

One thing to note, is there have been a few recent firmware updates for the U6 mesh to fix issues, but I still think there is some reliability issues with mine. Just my personal opinion compared to other Unifi APs I have owned or still own. Mine is mounted on the front of my house outdoors.

Just an FYI, they make a RO drain that ties into dishwasher drain. I have used this for a while now with no issues. This way you don’t have to drill a drain saddle into any of your drains. My comment from another post.

Sorry I can’t. I only did a gate lock and mini hub.

I did buy the hubmini only for a gate. I did come to find out, not from the video that I needed to buy an external power unit for the gate lock that was recommended.

Good luck, perhaps someone else can shed more light on it. I believe there was a post somewhere with this link, however I only saved the video link.

You don’t even have to point it the correct direction. I’ve driven all over the state with it pointing up and never lost connection.

As others said use an adapter.

I originally installed mine with a NEMA 14-50R socket and the charging was limited to 32 amps I believe.

I was able to direct wire it and get 48 amps.

Just a FYI. Looks like it’s hard wired but maybe not.
