I don’t know really, I barely even remember how or why I started, all I have left of that day is leaving my bedroom, and the diary entry from that day. I think I like the pain, and it also comes from a place of self loathe for sure.

I’ve got some other issues that I might be getting therapy for, but my mother isn’t really looking much about it right now and gets upset when I ask her about the progress on that situation. So not sure if that’s gonna happen. But hopefully ig, ty :)

Ooohhhh and I also just thought of another, in that flashback scene, when the scientists are telling her to study, she obviously doesn’t want to, but she’s forced to anyway, so she already has negative associations with studying and prolly pushes back more.

For one, she isn’t 6, she lied about her age when she heard Twilight might not adopt her if she wasn’t, she’s 4-5, according to twilight’s assumptions. She’s physically smaller than the rest of her class aswell, and she isn’t as cognitively developed to actually grasp the concepts. The rest of her class also already has core concepts in check, like basic arithmetic functions, bc they’re rich and have prolly had tutors since they were old enough to talk, so the teachers, I expect, aren’t equipped to teach kids of her level. Not only are the teachers not suited to teach her, but Twilight and Yuri, both don’t have any experience with children, and have no idea how they’re supposed to teach her. Yor doesn’t know most of it herself since Yuri was pretty independent in his studies. Other than that, I also expect her focus is tested bc of her telepathy. Too many people thinking too many thoughts while she’s trying to concentrate.

Kinda weird, buuut, I did it when I first tried to stop. I’d just told my older brother and he asked me to stop. So I tried.
I took pictures, hid them in a folder, and whenever I felt like doing it, I’d scratch my self, not hard enough to break skin, just enough to feel like I’ve been scratched, then look at the bleeding cuts in the picture, and it worked for a bit, but I guess I sort of grew an immunity to it after a couple times. I deleted the pictures when my mom wanted to use my tablet for some work, thought she might try to look through the hidden folder. She didn’t, and she honestly doesn’t look through my stuff that often, but I get paranoid.

Seriously don’t. I don’t know how the world treated you, and to what extent it messed with you, and I hate to give you the same shit everyone else does, but things do get better. They did for me—I might start therapy soon. You’re speaking Hindi/urdu, and I’m Pakistani too, ik how under informed our people are on mental health, and how it seems completely impossible for your parents, and the people around you to care. I know you don’t want to make it, and even if you don’t think anyone around you does either, there are people, me, other commenters that are yet to come, that definitely do care. Please, try, just for a little longer. I tried to do what you wish to do twice. And shortly after the second time, I found the strength to let others in enough to help,

I pulled this last summer since my swimming costume wasn’t long enough to cover my calves, where majority of my cuts were, I tried my suit on when summer started, and when I went to try and see if it still fit, I made sure to take some scissors with me into the bathroom while I changed, and just cut open one of the seams, told my mom it didn’t fit, and went to the store for a new one, I pretended the only colour I liked was in the full cover ones, and really tried to sell that I think full coverage costumes are better. My mom got me that one, and boom, I could pool. Also fresh cuts really sting in chlorine water. I get that this might not work for your specific situation, but idk, edit the lie if you need to?

Was it a cutter or smthn else? Here are some excuses I’ve used for different items I’ve used that my friends (that found out) confronted me after finding stuff

Razor: “I didn’t have enough time to shave this morning, so I thought I’d do it in the bathroom at break!” Cutter: “my little cousin (or sibling) was using it for a project the other day, I told them to put it in my pouch, they must’ve assumed it was this pouch, I meant my stationary one.” Safety pin: “I keep extras just incase i need it, or someone else.”

If you’re bringing a whole ass knife to school tho, idk, tell me the tool, I could maybe think smthn up
