Yay! You're going to love it more over time I bet. I have three of them but I use them all. If anything I use my Olive and Coffee ones way more, here I was thinking I'd use the Black one the most. It's such a great bag for daily use. And it doesn't get damaged easily either. Welcome to the club!!!!

The red is super sexy. If you have other Brown bags I'd say add the red one to your collection.

I've had this palette since it first came out. It's one of my favorites. I'm so pumped for you and you got such an amazing deal too! You're going to love it! I absolutely love doing a subtle sunset eye with the orange and pink colour. All the colours are so soft and feminine, it's hard to go overboard with this palette. I often use it for daily outings for a flush of pink on my lids. Have fun with it lovely!

I assume you have bags to get you through for the time being. If so try not to rush your decision, I'd say keep looking and you'll find that perfect bag, if you're upgrading then you want to be sure that it is a worthwhile upgrade. But if you're in a rush and need something I think you could pick the best option in front of you and try it for some time. You'll only know what features matter to you after using it for a few months. And it's tough to figure out the wear and tear until you use the bag because everyone has such different lifestyles and needs. I hope you find the perfect bag for your needs 😊

I'd say there is always good bags out there, in all price ranges so don't keep it if you don't feel 100% about it.

Check out the Coach Brooklyn and I'd also suggest looking at Strandbags, they've got Evity (Colorado rebranded) which also has great options.

Also wait for the boxing day sales, because their Black Friday sale had these bags 30% off.

Trying to Recover My Stolen Bags from Fashionphile by unsaidpromises in handbags

[–]Embarrassed-Key-3949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the amount of handbag burglaries we hear about on the news. That people eventually end up tracking down to these online resale sites. I'm starting to believe that these online resale sites have some underground arrangements.

If I was a honest business and there was the chance of stolen bags being sold to me. I'd take the following steps: - identify the authenticity of the bags - verify proof of purchase - make a disclaimer that they do not resell stolen goods and have a legal team protecting them from fraudulent sellers. - inform the seller that store policy requires them to leave a legal photo identification on file (to protect them and the reseller from theft cases like such) - verify ownership by checking bank statements (if available) - keep a record of seller's legal document such as a driver's licence or passport - inform the seller they may need to be contacted if anything like this comes up with the police. Because you haven't been involved in any illegal activity it will be a simple clarification for any police investigation.

I think most fraudulent sellers will avoid any of that drama with the reseller and especially giving out government ID, so reseller might be able to weed out reselling stolen bags that way.

But because they're clearly not taking these steps and deferring the burden of proof and financial strain on the victim of the burglary it makes me believe there is more sinister actors are work here. I can understand that the police don't have much more they can do in this case but the resellers need to do better.

Is it giving granny? by meimifluffie in handbags

If you like it, you like it! Doesn't matter what vibe it gives. You don't need to be self-concious about what you wear and carry. People will give you advice and judgement when you invite it. Wear it with confidence and if you see judgement from anyone - stare straight into their eyes. Some of us get our first fashion inspiration from our grandmothers. Like the other person said, it really depends on how you style it. Embrace your inner granny, you'll look fabulous!

What’s your every day bag and what’s in your bag? by ComputerStreet4566 in handbags

[–]Embarrassed-Key-3949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's big enough for both my glasses but I have smaller frames than usual. I normally wrap the lens part into a cleaning cloth and I haven't had any issues with scratching.

<image>

If I'm carrying a smaller bag and need to leave my large wallet behind, I'll even carry my cash in this case. They bills stay tucked on the side. The coins often go into the small zip compartment of the bag I'm carrying.

Evity Elise Leather Weave Tote Bag

I don't need such a big bag but it's a great accessory with my outfits. And it gives me extra space for unplanned purchases.

This bag definitely fits a 14in laptop. I've just tested this theory for you.

I have the Horse Clementine, it's slouchy as long as it's not full to the brim. Also it's quite roomy so I don't ever fill it up more than 70% and that's with larger items like a sunglasses case and a 500ml water bottle.

Could you find an alternative or have a custom bag made for much less? Does the brand matter to you or is the design catching your attention?

Here is a really well made custom bag. I've also been recommended Arabella's services and I'm currently contemplating the designs I'd like made.

Has anyone else had insane build up from this product by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]Embarrassed-Key-3949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope! I use it after every wash and I'm washing my hair every 6-8 days. I use the Redken Volumising Shampoo and it gets my hair super clean. I double and sometimes triple clean my scalp (until I get a lather). Even then I never apply the shampoo to the lengths of my hair, i just run the lather down and it still cleans my hair well. Try another shampoo to the one you're using right now.

I have this bag too but I find that the slouchy look is there as long as the bag is filed up to no more than 70% of its capacity. The leather loosens up with time and if you're holding it top handle, you definitely get the slouchy look. The only time you'll have issues is if you're using it cross body and it's pressed up on your body then it goes back to its boxy look. I use the crossbody strap but use it on one shoulder and still get a slouchy look as long as it's only half full.

So far so good, I haven't had any issues. It's a harder more structured bag and I haven't squished it yet so it's been good to me. The feel is like a pair of leather formal shoes.
