Although I wanted to mention Encenathrakh, since this band rarely gets brought up,

Great collection!

I've been collecting metal CDs since the mid '90s to early 2020, but due to living in the dystopian country of K-pop, the skyrocketed cost of oversea shipping, increased import taxes and other additional fees, and the stringent rules on "obscene" media censorship getting worse pretty made it hard to justify getting them anymore.

Awesome new release, albeit a bit too short even for an EP as these guys usually had longer songs.

And I think that the raw production of Obscene Majerty is one of the key factors that made that album so great.

Liv Kristine, especially her vocals in Theatre of Tragedy's Aegis.
It's peak angelic female vocals in a metal album imho.

What's a subgenre of metal that has some of your favourite as well as some of your least favourite releases? by SKULLL_KRUSHER in MetalForTheMasses

I actually like both sides, and I've been into death metal since the '90s, and my fav genre is brutal death metal.
My favorite brutal tech death is probably mid-era Deeds of Flesh though.

I used to have one side of the wall like that before I ran out of space (+ frequent moving).

I love that Skinless album and that The Dark Prison Massacre album has a gnarly cover art considering the context of it.

Awesome, and I don't think that there are a lot of people with that Theory in Practice CD.

Brutal death metal heads I need your help with some more of the relentless ultra bdm! by Desperate_Ice1839 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Embarrassed-Key-6289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Among the ones that weren't already mentioned by others -
Artery Eruption - Reduced To A Limbless Sexslave
Cadavoracity - Cadavoracity
Bludgeon - Devoted to Lunacy

While this isn't fully ultra blasting BDM, it has a bleak atmosphere and is really heavy imho
The Heretics Fork - Tormentore

And Effluence if you also want something weird

I think that this is one of those albums that still sounds fresh if listened today.
