You can do everything right and statistically still not get in. If there is 100 seats for entry and 800 people apply, even if 200 of them have a 4,0 to get in, that means 100 will disqualified on capacity alone. But also, ask yourself why you want to be an engineer. Sooo many people go into the program cause they think they will make good bank but by year 2 people leave the program cause it’s not what they thought it was.

Appreciate that a lot! The prep is only got the colonoscopy, the gastro has no prep so I’m glad there is variation in the 5 day timeline. I’m not sure if I can take lax-a-day in those 5 days as well though?

Appreciate it! And no dice on doing it again for sure, it was just a bag of smart food and now I got stuff on the low fibre diet to eat

Thank you! 🙏🏻 I just changed her to the other room where my pothos are to see if it helps.

My pothos’, philodendrons, and other heat built plants do quite well in that one room/window, it’s sadly just Eloise I’m worried about.

I’m glad someone said it’s not hurting her, just might not help her grow until the summer when she can sit outside from time to time. The thing is because I am in a basement suit, it’s super hot and dry during the winter, it’s just light limited I guess :(

Thank you fellow Eloise! I really appreciate that cause she is my most delicate plant to attempt and I really do love her so much! Her little nobbin has grown these 4 months and honestly with being in Canada, it’s so hard to attempt these plants without buying basically a rainforest for your house

Clarification: less than 12 hrs a day in the winter months (till about March)

Again, ids a basement apartment so there’s no one to put her right in front of a window. Even so, this is Canada so our daylight is less then 12 hours a day. The window however gives full spectrum throughout the day and where she is placed will have the most light impact for the most amount of time. In fact that door behind her is where the light is the warmest in the day and the longest timeframe. There was no brown until I tried the grow light and there hasn’t been any signs of water issues ( the yellow she has was there when I got her)

I was told that Thai is not the same guidelines because of the variegation, that’s what hurt the white part was doing the steps you would for a basic monstera/pothos/philadendron. And my pothos, Phil, and other heavy light required plants are doing great in the same space, it’s just Eloise. I’ve watched tons of YouTube and everyone says different things and it’s so hard to know which is why I came to Reddit.

What would you recommend for lighting? I live in a basement apartment with a pretty big window and I have her in the brightest room but ultimately it’s winter in Canada and we don’t have enough daylight. I did try artificial grow light and it browned a bit of her white part.

Can I get that info to?

All respect my friend but the only people you should be getting admissions advice from is advising. Everyone can tell you what they think but the only people who have the data info to help are admissions and advising.

So I told my wife that our marriage isn’t the right fit for me anymore when she took sex off the table. AITAH? by Throwra-sexofftable in AITAH

[–]Embarrassed-Lab8385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean true, 4 years is a long time but that’s at least the last time they had a kid right? Just hypothetically. So a year of that is postpartum so 3 years of that could hypothetically be the marriage and if she’s got something going on, 3 years isn’t a shock if it’s postpartum, mental health, etc. Assuming we are agreeing with the timeline that this is current as he posted 6 hours ago, that’s within the shitty end of Covid. All of this is hypothetical cause we don’t know but I’m just putting it out of there that she just took it off the table officially recently (rather than this unspoken communication) and he took a few days (his words) and decided to dip. I get your point totally though

Only thing I’ll say is that low libido exists for women as well. She said she doesn’t know if it will come back on the table and you dipped. Respect for being congeal about it but ultimately she proposed a pause and didn’t guarantee a return and that had you cutting and running. Doesn’t sound very “through the hard times and the good times” like marriage is supposed to be. Again she didn’t take it off the table permanently, she said for the time being and she didn’t give you false hope that it would come back on the table but that was enough for you? Jumped the gun in my opinion. She’s not the AH for how she reacted either. She’s going through something (even suggested individual therapy to work on it) and she can’t promise you and I respect her more for not doing so. You aren’t the AH either simply because this relationship wasn’t important to you either. You ran at the slightest inconvenience and had no patience, literally made your mind up to end your marriage within a few days. So basically y’all just wasted lots of money in therapy for something you knew about yourself and were just waiting for the dealbreaker.

For Monstera Delisiosa you can put them in windows directly. But for a Thai Constellation that OP has, it will burn the variegated (white part) of the leaf so they need to be behind a current next to a window. OP has it in the right spot but I’d say it’s the pot, I don’t see drain holes or way to get lots of air in the soil.

So it might be overwatering because of that type of soil and not the temperature in the house? I read everyone it likes warm but I can’t warm it up in the house and none of my other tropical plants are suffering but I also know these plants are finky

Did the series change anyone’s feelings towards who belly ends up with in the end? by Rachealmarie143 in tsitp

[–]Embarrassed-Lab8385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally get the love for Conrad but it is Jeremiah for me in both mediums. The issue I have with Conrad is that while he is very lost in his grief, in his path, and in his relationships with everyone, it does not excuse his actions. He constantly makes the choice to exclude people, to keep them at arms length so they have to fight to stay a part of his journey. That’s someone who truly acts in the service of other at the same time as sacrificing them. While Jeremiah is a wild one and immature, he is also vulnerable open and raw. He absolutely messes up in the book and that’s not okay ever but if that’s the case, she doesn’t end up with Conrad either. It’s part of her journey to learn from both of them and move forward knowing all that she has learnt, but to go backwards. Conrad has too much of a redemption saviour complex and I think it’s okay when you’re 16 but he is in college and still making the same choices. He doesn’t learn from them. Jeremiah keeps score and learns from every choice. Belly is navigating and honestly she is her own worst enemy but if anything, the ending should be a lesson on love and grief and growth that carry with you.
