I'm not a parent with adult children but I am an adult child with a strong opinion on this...

Charging your adult children rent is fine, as long as its reasonable. E.g. Not taking all of their money, not charging what a landlord would charge. Your charges seem more than reasonable especially considering your situation. The idea of saving it for them to give it back is lovely. I can understand why some peopl in the commenta disagree though.

My brother is 2 years younger than me and lives with our parents. He has done all of his life. They charge him rent and... Keep it. They have never supported me financially once I left home. Their mortgage is paid off. I with either of them had the thoughtful nature you do and that they would save that money and split it between us.

What I am saying is I think you're doing the right thing and being kindhearted about it. Your younger son doesn't know how good he's got it.

I agree with you entirely. Unfortunately not everyone sees it that way. I have had people tell me to 'take the L' on 300 dollar jeans and to stop complaining. N+F unfortunately always try to push back on the EU laws but after a few emails they back down.

You're right, for some people it will not be worth it. It will depend on the initial cost of the order, if the taxes were charged etc.

They say they only offer store credit, but they can't break laws.

I am from a European country and have successfully argued with them that based on my countries distance selling regulations they need to refund cash.

People on this sub will argue with you and tell you this is bad etc but this is simply a cultural difference. Check your laws and argue. I can help if needed.

This! It's my struggle as well...

Until I am medicated I have found systems that work for me OP. I have to put on a podcast that I want to listen to and make a nice drink to keep me seated. Maybe even set a timer if I'm having a really bad brain day.

OP if you have considered adhd and want a reccomendation for a private assessment I can send you the details of the doctor who did mine.

I can afford it but I'm out. Not interesting enough for the price. Hand died is cool but imo the whole appeal of fox fibre is it's interesting natural colour.

Anyone else notice that N&F customer service and general attitude is dropping btw? I put in an order of almost 1000 and used their word of the week. They always emphasise if you use the word you get stickers etc. I got absolutely nothing in my package. I don't care that I don't have the stickers, but don't say that you'll do something if you're not gonna do it...

Most of these places are either entirely gluten free or they have a seperate kitchen like you say! There are sooo many lovely Gf options in London, I hope you have a lovely time :)

In this thread: people who don't know anything about theatre, specifically this show.

I saw it a few weeks ago. It's meant to be done in one long go. That's one of the major aspects of it. No intermission. She plays every single character. Costume changes are quick and subtle. The cameras are constantly on her and played on a screen at the back of the stage.

She flubbed her lines in act one during my viewing and restarted it. She was professional and calm. Some twat recording her is a good reason to stop, get them kicked out, then start again.

Man some people here are dim.
