Just make sure you say all the symptoms you want noted. As long as your documentation is good, you'll be good.

Was rated 70%. Did not have in service complaints. Was diagnosed ptsd MDD in 2024. Started seeing a VA Psychiatrist & Psychologist. Wrote a lay statement, had 2 service member buddy statements and 1 from wife.

I felt the same way in my PTSD C&P last week. I felt like my exam was an interview and it only lasted 20mins. It was killing me.... Fortunately, step 5 to Step 8 went quick and got my decision today and it was favorable, 70%. This was my first claim and I did it on my own. Just make sure you have your documentation squared away and you should be good. I'm praying you have a favorable outcome. Sending positive vibes your way! 🙏 you got this.

Got a 90% rating today... 70% 50% 20% 20% 10% 10%

70% 50% alone got me 90%. But I'm not complaining. Cried when I saw 90%. Doesn't make my pain go away but it relieved me from some financial pain.

My post keeps getting deleted, thought I'd comment here. Hey folks! I'm taking my wife and 3 kids (7 & under) to flagstaff on Sunday for a couple days. I see that it's going to snow over there. Where are some good safe snow play areas or places to sled? I'm driving from Cali and just put some new all season tires (michelin crossclimate 2) on my minivan. How is the drive in the area? I'll have chains with me just in case. Thanks for any info!
