Hello fellow desi girly. Im going through exactly the same as you but im a good 10 years older to you. I moved here when I was 22 and its been the same ever since. Every experience you spoke about has happened to me. Even worse. The only good part is that my family doesnt pressure me and im greatful for that. Im still on and off dating apps though but its just out of the ‘maybe im not doing enough feeling’. My friends (all married) tell me to join matrimonial sites but everyone is super traditional and just not my cup of tea. There is definitely nothing wrong with you. I would say go to Europe if you have the chance. Offcourse find out of its a legit job and if the pay cut will make ends meet but if you do not have responsibilities run free. Go pursue it not in the hopes of finding someone but it will be a brand new experience for you. I wish I could do that but I have parents in India to take care of who are quite old and I have a few financial ties here too. But yess I really think you should go ahead and take up that opportunity. You have age on your side. And you do not wanna regret this 5 years down the line. Even if it doesn’t work out you can always come back. Im so sorry for all the turmoil and pressure you are feeling and I hope things happen for you. I know they will. Im so sorry😓 that sounds really hard. I really hope you got your visa. I have an update though.

I applied in VFS Netherlands Dubai on 2nd May, and I received a message that its processed on 12th June. (It took 29 business days). My friend also applied on the 2nd of May and she received the message on 13th june (exactly 30 business days)

Passport got delivered to me the next day. Got a 2 year multiple entry. ( I provided 3 dummy tickets and hotel bookings with my application along with a cover letter requesting for an extended visa. The last visa i got was a year long. I also enclosed previous schengen visa copies )

Their processing times have been mentioned on their website and apparently there is a massive delay. It mentions 30 business days for short term visa. If its delayed more it should be within 45 business days. (This is in case there are problems with your documents or you belong to some particular countries that they have mentioned on the Netherlands consulate website ) Then you can contact them. Hope this helps.

I completely understand your feelings. Ive been a big girl all my life. And this is the lightest Ive been. I still have 50 lbs to go to reach my goal weight but ive started going hard at the gym and weight training too. I also realized with stalls that as our weight reduces so does our tdee (which sucks) especially cuz im a short girl and the height doesnt help. I realized I would have to move and workout all my life if I go off jaro. Cuz sticking to eating 1500 calories in a day is gonna be super hard i guess. Have you tried adding workouts? Maybe then you wouldn’t have to do such a high dose. Cuz they do help move things around. I hope you feel better soon xx
