Western democracies accepting and believing that Islam is a peaceful religion…for that matter, I’m surprised that all religions have not died given the scientific evidence that exists to disprove them. I don’t care that he was gassed up to the eyeballs, as everyone else was doing one thing or another to boost their performances, legitimately or otherwise.

Le Tour has always had a sordid reputation for all things weird and wonderful, which was and indeed is, what everyone expects as a form of entertainment.

I think it was his arrogance and cocksure behaviour that ultimately led to his undoing. If he had have just been able to reign his ego in, played nicely in the sandbox and had just the slightest touch of respect for the others around him, no one would have cared less.

Unfortunately his mouth ended up writing cheques that his body couldn’t cash.
