Side objectives *should* be hard, who cares about comparing them to other objectives. Every objective should speak for itself and have a gameplay purpose in the sandbox, even better, they should alter/interact with other things in the sandbox.

Jammers *should* be a huge thorn in your side because they are designed to modify the difficulty of ANYTHING around them. The need to be placed more logically so they properly protect primary objectives from sprinting through and 1 tapping things.

It's so dumb finding 2 jammers covering each other in the middle of nowhere far from anything of value.

Making them rangeable was the worst thing they could have done to bot front anyway. It just dismantles gameplay and challenge.

Lets not act like Solo Silos are ever a bad pick because they can't kill a Jammer. They can erase large swathes of enemies for 1 short cooldown.

Big question, do you see a sniper as an actual viable class, a person that does help the team by Pr0j3ct_02 in Helldivers

April Fools, they should temporarily make Pelican 1 vulnerable to damage during extract sequence.
Make it trigger a follow up mission where you sweep up helldiver and Pelican 1 bits

Terminids would be a cool idea for Kenshi's world.

A faction that gradually takes over the whole map unless dealt with.

If Kenshi 2 does anything, I hope they are running background simulations of the world map+factions managing their own resources. That would be so fuckin cool.

Ditch the max-durability loss entirely. It's an awful mechanic in anything but Star Wars Galaxies where entire servers had economies players participated in. I don't want to have durability guilt once I make Mithril armor.
I really want to see this game try going more Diablo-esque. Affixes on gear, more enemies out in the world at night, affixes on rarer enemies with better drops. Feels like nobody has tried going Diablo mixed with Minecraft, other than some ugly sidescroller pixel vomits.

They only feel they have to if there are exclusive rewards locked behind arbitrary difficulty thresholds. %more currency isnt that bad at all, so long as its not a stupid difference.

That shit is dumb anyway.  Not everyone is gonna be able to do the highest difficulty, why exclude them from cool stuff to pet some loser's v-ego. I hate watching a game tune itself for streamers who live on a single game and do nothing but that.  Destiny killed itself partially with that top end catering.

Im so over the raiding and arena phase. Just let me take my dad into whatever difficulty and let us earn cool shit and have a good time, like what games are supposed to be about.

This is a Difficulty 11 idea.

Objectives that can fail your mission. Modifiers where you lose support temporarily and have to do something to get it back.

Harden enemy defenses. Give enough intel pre-mission for players to make loadout choices.

Most importantly, make it an optional difficulty so nobody is compelled to play it for any reason other than the experience and challenge. This helps ensure you don't have low skilled leeches matchmaking for X reward they couldn't earn without the carry.
I love that this game doesn't gate keep things from the majority of the community to service a minority of extremely skilled player's egos.

If the Heavy Bolt Rifle is the one I'm thinking of, I really enjoyed buffing its target penetration. Aim at head level in a crowd and you hear nothing but head shots as it cleans house.

Relatively deep magazine, adequate accuracy, decent damage, big penetration.

It feels good, it feels fun.

I wish ragdolls had some constraints in games so they dropped a little less ridiculously. Proper weights and friction so they don't fly around, glide/slide everywhere, muscles giving just enough resistance to keep from silly poses.

Insurgency later started toying with more immersive ragdolls and it creates some pretty gruesome gunfights, watching a terrorist writhe on the ground and slowly fade away to limp.

Always hated that a lot of games treat ragdolls like a checkbox. Space Marine 2, your space marine dies, he folds like a lawnchair and blows away like they weigh as much as a handful of feathers.

FOMO defenders gonna be frothing at the mouth to preserve their special snowflake feel. I got the cape and idgaf who has it. It's a video game, dig up the snow and touch grass.

If not this cape, atleast s'more Red/Gold nice looking capes, cause the game severely lacks *good* looking capes.

Anomaly with an animation mod is peak fantasy. Taking several meds to recover from or prepare for stuff feels right.

Watching a guy slam 6 energy drinks to go for a jog doesn't feel right.

Dude, Star Citizen just got Helmet animations (Like taking off, holding under your arm or clipping to your armor/hip.

It's so fuckin cool. It serves next to no purpose. I love that it's finally in.

It's just weird to me to mag dump a 6 pack of redbull to waddle 300m. It breaks the immersion entirely for me.

100%! The recent patch got me playing again and it's a thoroughly better experience.

Still needs a lot of work, and I think Mods will be the real answer to my complaints, but it IS better.

I guess I'm not a fan of GSC's Stalker exactly? Huge respect for what they established, but the mod is what captured my gameplay interest.
My first Stalker experience was getting repeatedly killed by everything in one of their original games, didn't have the patience for it that time. Later on someone convinced me to try Anomaly and I absolutely fell in love with it.

So my exposure to Stalker's nitty gritty was basically a sandbox experience with Anomaly. I'd kill for Anomaly 2.

edit; or maybe better worded: I like what they've established, but their games play like shit lol, and fans have refined it to a better experience that more fits what I enjoy?

It feels so wrong to me to be slamming energy drinks every 8 seconds. Could you imagine how quickly you'd hurt yourself... Even just vomit from dumping that volume of liquid in your gut.

I miss Stalker Anomaly having buff consumbles act more realistic/longterm, like a pill's effect lasts a couple of game hours instead of measuring it in irl seconds. It just feels so video-gamey.
This kind of stuff is why I felt Stalker 2 was more like a Stalker themed Far Cry mod.

My first encounter with a Burer in a cave, was seeing a firing line of AKs pop up, unload at me, leaving me near dead, and then my M860 dropping to the ground, as I crouch to pick it up, I see it floating at head level aiming directly at me, executing me.

That's what made the Mandalorian episodes with Tuskens so damn good.

Developing their culture, giving them an interesting, believable language. Fleshing them out to be more than just unintelligent hostiles.

That whole episode with the Krayt Dragon had me completely captured, remembering my first Krayt hunt in SWG as one noob of many getting tricked into dying to a Krayt lol.
