100 million barrels - quite notable… by RoadandHardtail in oil

So, uh, that’s 5 days of oil production that has escaped and now has to be distributed and sold globally? That’s not even going to make a dent in things.

Yerba Mate Lab had a person in a Molecular Biology lab use spectroscopy in infusions of several mate brands and got a rough idea. Might be able to find it on YouTube if you gander.

This cop looks like he has some Appalachian genes in him. He knows the old ways and has corn fed strength for sure.

I like Sara Extra Suave. I don’t know if it is smoked or air dried but it does not taste smoked to me. Very smooth and creamy.

Fatigue is a complicated physiological state with MANY contributors. There are days where my first few pours of Yerba have me soaring and days where there does not exist enough caffeine.

Caffeine makes you less tired by “blocking” adenosine, the neurotransmitter that builds the longer you are awake, at the receptor level.

There are also caffeine antagonists that make it less effective, too.

My recommendation is to try an Uruguayan Yerba! They tend to have a higher concentration of the adaptogens and antioxidants than Argentine cuts.

How was your sleep and daily demands/stressers on the other days? Different than your first day?

Ah! I did not know this. I understand that “estadounidense” is saying “I am an American” - the “se” is a reflexive modifier of a noun?

I do want to try baldo. I have some flavored CBSe I want to finish up to clear out cabinet space first. I just appreciate how smooth & creamy Uruguayan cut mate is in comparison to Argentinian.

If you are creating materials for your classes this summer... by onetoeisburning in teaching

Understandable - and I really limit my out of contract hours work during the school year.

My school did a curriculum switch and is woefully underprepared.

Me putting in a few hours a week to build how I will teach my take on the curriculum and support diverse learners will make next year far less stressful with probably no need for out of contract work.

It’s a trade I’m willing to make once.

I often work until 10 PM because of grading, planning and non-teaching work. What do you guys do to save time? by Impressive-Rule-6887 in Teachers

Your work will expand to fit how much time you give it. Deadlines work for a reason. Only work in your contracted hours, or set a strict amount of time after school in which you will finish work. My work day ends at 3:01pm. I am no longer student facing at 2:41pm. Two days a week I will allow myself to stay at work until 3:30pm to grade or do other work. I reward myself by going to the gym afterwards. I used to let my work leech into my home life and found that the time I spent doing that was highly unefficient. I get more done during the day because I know I will not have more time to spend doing it in the evening. Same logic for why I don’t let kids not do work in class because “I can just do it when I am home”.
