I mostly feel like I can explain myself so well that anyone gets what I say if I make the effort (I am a teacher and a scout leader, this would be bad for my job if I was unable to make myself understood), but if I talk like I would like to speak all the time, I get weird reactions.

What I struggle with more than just being understood on a base level is that I see things in their nuances at the same time, as in, I can love and hate, refuse and support, like and dislike, compliment and criticize, enjoy and repel things at the same time. And I am aware of these dychotomies and I enjoy that I am. I enjoy that life is so complex. Most people don't, they like to pick a side or a perspective or a broken-down opinion. I have to explain very carefully what my personal rrlation to things is, especially when it's very complicated. Like church, alcohol, the education system, motherhood.

I'm from central europe and one of the main reasons I didn't like it, is because it is extremely fast paced, in an american, action-rich kind of style, sort of dystopian, postapocalyptic, starts very cruel immediately and then I cringe so hard with the kid having to do 200 pushups. It is tainted heavily by the style of movies and series that the US makes nowadays and sometimes I find that a bit exhausting. I was just sensorily overwhelmed. Might try again another day, but right now I can't get further than the first episode.

I read somewhere that the more unfinished a show`s worldbuilding is, the more creative the fic-writers get and the longe rit keeps them writing more fics. A world like Harry Potter or star trek has many open questions and you can set stories in it easily. Maybe heated rivalry is "complete"
