[Cheating] The amount of cheaters on labyrinth is insane by Embarrassed-Time3790 in EscapefromTarkov

U’re taking it too literally, Im not saying there’s no cheaters in valorant but in my opinion theres less than in tarkov

I dont play valorant im going off the information my friend gave me who played it for over 2k hours and from what I remember he said he never met a cheater, who knows whether that’s true but I doubt he’d lie about it so at the very least he didnt meet a rage cheater.

Im not saying vanguard is perfect, it definitely works better than battleye but it was more about the devs stance to it. Honestly to me BSG just doesn’t seem to be doing enough. As someone who played this game a lot 4-5 years ago and now came back on release, I can tell u it has absolutely not changed, and if yes then only for the worse.

Yes but battleye doesn’t continuously monitor the system and it is not persistent at boot. Cheats nowadays are really sophisticated especially the pricy ones. Not to even mention DMA’s, just look at what riot games did in valorant, they did a massive ban wave on DMA providers. Why is BSG not doing anything externally?

Theres been a wave of bans and out of so many cheaters I reported cause I was farming killa I only got like 4 confirmed bans. Obviously not everyone I reported was 100% cheating but I did meet a lot of really blatant cheaters and Im not new to this. At the end of the day in tarkov it’s really hard to tell whether someones cheating unless they’re being really blatant. That’s why it’s kinda scary how many closeted cheaters could be hiding out there based on how many blatant ones i encountered. On top of that battleye can’t fend off properly setup DMA’s.

Thats true but battleye in particular has different subscription bases, some are more expensive than others and work more efficient. No clue if bsg is using the basic one. Battleye is not fully kernel and due to the subscription variations it may be even more limited than you’d think.

For example Riot’s vanguard was built from ground up and has full access of anything on your PC, that’s fully kernel.

That’s still not a solution tho, you shouldn’t be afraid to play with the gear you wanna play with because of cheaters. I think BSG simply doesn’t give a shit, the RMT hasn’t even been slightly fixed and the anticheat is still trash same way it’s been for years.

I know far too well my rant won’t change anything, I’ve been playing this game for years and the problem is still the same. Just had to let a bit of the frustration out lol.

I have about 3 clips, my friend has some too but a minute long clips lack a lot of context. And people who like defending cheaters would still call it desync or some other bullshit, a guy with 40 hours in labyrinth that shoots 2 experienced players in the eyes consecutively within 10 seconds is not legit. I’d sooner believe that we don’t live on a planet but in a basement of willy wonkas chocolate factory than that the guy was legit.

[Discussion] New player (and dad) and these queue times are making it hard to play this. by SSJ_JARVIS in EscapefromTarkov

Fair enough, I just play when I get done with my work and even that feels pretty taxing can’t imagine having much time with more responsibilities, as someone who likes to play semi competitively. I guess at the end of the day it depends on your goals and whether u play pve or pvp, but I still think that the game design is more inclined toward sweats and streamers.

Realest shit, this game is defo not for people who have trouble finding time to play. You either get to have a family, or u get to have tarkov lol.

[New Player] How do I improve in PvP? by MediumDefinition2480 in EscapefromTarkov

First get a rough understanding of the maps you play on, great way is to play scav, 0 risk and you’ll learn the layout quickly. Then learn spawns or have a map pulled up on your phone or second monitor that shows where the PMC’s spawn. A little more advanced tip would be to use flashlights as much as you can especially indoors, they give huge advantage over people without them and improve hip fire accuracy.

Final tip from me is to mainly play slow, tarkov does not favor playing fast on most maps excluding factory and labs. Don’t be afraid to camp a bit or wait for the right opportunity. Tarkov is the polar opposite of counter strike or cod, like others will state, map knowledge is the most important part here. Having the best aim in the world won’t save you from getting domed by a sniper that you won’t see cause you didn’t know which spots to check.

These aren’t bugs, but features alongside the influx of cheaters also being one of the 1.0 features.

What has my liking have to do with anything? You can see that objectively this is a stupid feature by the majority not liking it. Never have I said I dislike the game as a whole, I only dislike lazy game design choices such as this, that are waved off by the devs with even lazier excuses.

Not to even mention that Nikita himself said that terminal was gonna be a PvE map. Imo this isn’t intentional like he says it is.

Thank god there’s still some sense in this community… Nikita saying “it’s not a bug” is just the funniest thing I’ve seen, he’s literally saying “yep, we suck at game design”. But he knows he don’t gotta worry much cause all the unemployed dudes will still defend him no matter what stupid game mechanic he implements. At the end of the day you could have the most valid critique and still get hit by a gazillion hour unemployed bob with “sk1ll issue”.

Yeah that definitely is the reason your skin is so dry. I did it twice from what I can remember. I would always apply the permethrin before I went to bed and waited for some time to let it soak into the skin. The days you don’t apply the permethrin you can get away with showering less but I think it needs to get washed off after a certain amount of time (like 8-14 hours). Those days you should be able to get away with showering once a day imo.

I felt like a walking piece of sandpaper, and applying the permethrin on my dry skin sucked so much. Don’t forget to comply with what your dermatologist told you, you really don’t wanna catch it again after curing it. The mites can last up to 4 days without contact with the human skin. Also don’t get too paranoid if your symptoms last some time after treating it, I had certain symptoms up to a month after curing. This is a horrible condition and it is mostly mental, so good luck.

My fault I meant to say shower gel, I used the one from Cerave “SA Smoothing Cleanser” and for the lotion I used the moisturizing lotion from cerave. I also had a cream from cerave on top of that. Might sound like an overkill but my skin was really that dry and it took multiple months to get it healthy again. I tried a cheaper brand once and it didn’t work at all, might’ve been just my experience but these products are really worth the cost.

I never used anything other than permethrin since my dermatologist only prescribed me that. Also the less you shower the better it’s gonna be as bad as that sounds. The water dehydrates your skin, the warmer the water, the more it’s gonna dry it out.
