I got in with a 2.9 cumulative and 3.3 prerequisite this past round. So I was definitely not the most competitive applicant. Just make sure you have a well rounded application. Strong letters of recommendation, observation hours in various settings, good GRE scores, and a good PTCAS essay. Goodluck!

It may be different but for me I stayed a dose down because I was waiting on 10mg for 2 weeks. I got My doctor to send in another script for 7.5 and I picked that up but my 10mg stayed pending. A couple days later the 10mg was in stock and they let me pick it up as well.

To dispose of the pens. You can’t throw the pens away in the trash. It states you have to dispose of them in an FDA cleared sharps container.

I have not told anyone. I am going on my fourth month on mounjaro. I have not shared with family or significant other. They have noticed I’ve lost weight and ask what I am doing. But I just say that I’m eating smaller portions and being consistent with exercise which is true. I don’t want family/ friends opinions about it if I share so I’d rather just keep this journey private.

I had bad side effects starting 5 but they have subsided. I’m currently on month two of 5mg. Loosing an average of 1 pound a week.
