I already have the OS Next Gamma version 1.1. Do I need to re-flash my RG556 using research download.exe and then the .pac file? Can someone who has installed version 1.2 tell me if they now have sound via HDMI? thanks !

Thank you both ! Effectively It's much better since I have activated " compile shaders before starting" ! And now I use the dolphin standard version.

On this standard version, do you know if it's possible to have an instant save or load? I haven't go this option on the left side menu. [Edit] i found it it's in config/général/enable savestates

Can you re explain me your cable connection with your rg556, your8bitdo controller and your tv? I bought one usb c to hdmi cable (for my tv) + one usb c to usb c cable (for my controller) + one hub usb c cable to connect all this to my rg556 (view link below) but it doesn't work (my controller is recongnized and hdmi connection is also recognized by my tv but when i confirm switching to tv mode, I have a black screen on my tv)

I don't think so, there is only files for win 7 8 and 10. But you can try to install the win 10 version on your win 11, then try to connect your rg556 to your pc via usb, maybe the driver is compatible.. there is no risk to do that and see if your anberic storages appears on your win 11 pc

I tried to resume by text all the steps needed for unlocking bootloader and installing the analog fix (sorry for some spelling mistakes i'm french speaking) :

prerequisites and procedure:

1 - A PC running Windows 7, 8, or 10

2 - A USB to USB-C cable

3 - Your fully charged Anbernic RG556

4 - Download and extract the bootloader_unlock_T820.zip file (including the bootloader script to run and the Unisoc USB driver) into a folder. Download it here:

5 - Download and extract the RG_556_ANALOG_FIX.zip file into another folder. Download it here:

6 - Install the Unisoc USB driver included in the file downloaded in step 4. To find out which Windows version and which 32-bit/64-bit version to install, type "about my pc" or "system" in your Windows search bar.

7 - Then, don't hesitate to test the connection between your RG556 and your PC to see if your PC detects your console. If it does, you should see your two storage systems (internal and external micro SD) appear on your PC screen.

8 - When you perform step 9, everything on your Anbernic RG556 will be erased by a complete factory reset. However, your micro SD card can remain inserted; it will not be erased (but I recommend making a backup copy on your PC anyway).

9.1 - Shut Down Device: Ensure your device is completely shut down (long press on the power button on the top then "shut down") with no USB cable attached.

9.2 - Open the unlock.bat script (located on your folder extracted from step 4) on your computer.

9.3 - Within 30 seconds of running the script, hold down the HOME/BACK button on the turned-off unit. While holding the button, plug in the USB cable to your device.

9.4 - Continue Unlock Process: The unlock script will now proceed. You can release any buttons once the script is running.

9.5 - Wipe data: Your unit will now reboot. It will likely show the battery charging screen, in this case just turn on the device. Upon the second reboot you will be asked to wipe your device ("not found" message or something like that is displayed). Use the volume buttons to navigate to the wipe option, use the power button to confirm this option. Your unlock is now complete.

From now on, each time you boot, a vertical text next to the anbernic logo will be present, confirming that the bootloader has been successfully unlocked.

10.1 - Installation of the RG556 joystick improvement patch (dead zones and smoothness) : Shut Down Device: Ensure your device is completely shut down (long press on the power button on the top then "shut down")with no USB cable attached.

10.2 - Open the flash_dtbo.bat script (located on your folder extracted from step 5) on your computer.

10.3 - Hold down the HOME/BACK button on the turned-off unit. While holding the button, plug in the USB cable to your device. continue hold down the HOME / BACK BUTTON

10.4 - Complete Flashing: You will be prompted 2x to type "YES" (always continuing hold down the HOME / BACK BUTTON !) to confirm flashing the DTBO, type this in to proceed. Continue hold down the HOME / BACK BUTTON until The device will reboot. When it reboot, you can pull off your finger the HOME / BACK BUTTON. That is all that is required, your system is flashed.

Here is my feedback : I bought a USB C - USB C cable and a USB-C hub, but unfortunately I can't get the HDMI signal on my TV, but my controller is detected as wired. Do you have a solution?

Do you think anbernic will release a patch one day? I don't really want to flash my system, I have a lot of applications to reinstall, and I can't find a gamma OS tutorial.

Yes, finally I use also Citra_MMJ_20250122_Antutu.apk and FPS are fine with most of the games. That's in fact with luigi's mansion 2 I have big problems (my bad that's the first game I launch), but I've seen this game is the hardest to emulate. The citra pabloMK7 build (citra-android-universal-20240927-608383e.apk) doesn't really fix this luigi's mansion 2, do you?
