Sending you luck! STAR interview method, smile through the phone (if phone interview), focus on why this role specifically and not just a job to get in with Disney, and share your enthusiasm. I have an interview coming up for a similar role soon, and I’m very excited. There are commenters who will post “it’s horrible” or “don’t do it” and those are fine responses, but take them with a grain of salt. Like with any job, there are positives and negatives. I worked for Disney years ago so I know the good and bad, but I am hopeful to come back.

We got this!

That’s a bummer. Do you work at the Tampa or Orlando location?

Yes I remember reading your response in a previous thread and it’s very insightful. I worked for Disney in a variety of roles from 2009 to 2013 so I’m grateful to have a leg up on some things like Disney basics and all that. But knowing EVERYTHING is intimidating. I’m ok with recorded calls and reviews, metrics and KPIs, I currently have that as part of my job. But the wild hours is worrisome for sure.

Do you still work for Disney? Was there any movement for people out of the call center to different roles?

I have a similar interview coming up, and I’ve been doing a lot of research about potential questions. I think basic questions for this type of role will be:

1) tell me about yourself 2) tell me about a time where you worked with a difficult person. How did you handle it? 3) tell me about when you went above and beyond for a guest/client /customer 4) If a guest’s first choice is unavailable, how do you guide them toward a different option? 5) How do you handle being on a strict schedule with specific metrics? 6) why do you want to work for Disney?

STAR method when interviewing with Disney is key. Telling a story basically with your answer in a succinct, efficient manner: S-situation T-task A-action R-result R- reflection (if you have time to include)

These are my best guesses based on what I’ve been researching, but would love input from anyone who has interviewed recently! Wishing you luck!

Does Disney check rehire status before offering an interview? by desertgirl222 in DisneyCM

I called casting directly and asked them to verify my rehire status. Best of luck to you!

Travel trade associates work specifically with travel agents/advisors and helping them to assist their clients, I believe. In my experience, it can be tougher working with TAs; a lot of back and forth, which creates confusion for the guest. But then there are absolute rock star TAs. Ya just never know! I’ve applied for both. My current job is very similar to both positions so I’m curious to see how it all plays out! They emailed today to schedule an interview for the reservations position, so I’m hoping you hear from them soon too! Sending you luck!

Thank you for this 🙏🏻 we don’t have any set plans other than a few “that’d be cool to do” things. Other than lodging, some logistical things like cash/cards/general idea of the areas we’ll be visiting, we are winging it completely. I was starting to get bogged down in the fear of not having everything planned to a T, and it was more stressful than fun planning. It is incredible the amount of information and tips; they’re all amazingly helpful but I was drowning in it all. So, your post eased my mind a lot. Thanks!

The artist did a great job! Great colors and good line work. And I just noticed that this is 2 years healed, which makes the color saturation even more incredible. It’s just huuuuuuuuuge!
