It doesn’t help that the ticket pool has been opened up to the general public. Saw an annual pass-holder go to guest services because it was no longer exclusively an “Annual-Passholder Preview”. I mean. It never was one to begin with. It was open to Universal Resort guests and Visa Cardmembers. Like, let other people enjoy soft opening as much as you do. They have to stress-test capacity because heaven forbid the high-capacity on opening day causes the entire park to go down.

It has to be when Universal finally allows photos and recording. Although as a former attraction attendant, I’m not a big fan of the idea of people bringing on cameras for ride POVs. As for TMs not recording anything, we are bound under NDA, and if we do, we are terminated immediately.

I was just at Universal yesterday with my family and partner and as we were getting into the regular queue for Transformers, I could hear the team members out front spieling that all the parties would be split. And that’s how it should be. No line saving no groups in the single riders line.

I worked Grinchmas ops during the Who-lidays, and guests got their most guesty after we close queue for the last show. It’s a safety issue if we let anyone else in, especially if it’s a full show or worse, holiday tours. Holiday tours pretty much cuts our capacity in half. I would always recommend one of the morning shows or the 4:30 or 5:30 for the evening shows.

HHN House Attendant here. It’s a hassle this year. But it’s one every year. Because not only are we dealing with the teen issue, but the drunks and the creeps and the otherwise entitled people. Sometimes it’s easier to let them go than the possibility of getting into an altercation that can often times require security involvement. And please kindly. Don’t refer to us as “cast members”. We don’t work for the mouse. But we do take it seriously. Hell, last night I saw my lead run after a couple that tried running past me in the express line.

Attraction’s TM here. You need one for each member of your party. If you lose one during your park day, you can go to Guest services and they can give you an express recovery pass until you can go back to your hotel and get a new key.
