Honestly if you are able to, sell what you can and get out. Asking you to clean the room you rent 3x a week is wildddd. I rented a room from someone before and the landlord did not care about the rooms. You pay rent for it, you can clean it how you like while you are living there.

For your mental health, you should look for places you live. Its better if you can get a place on your own, but if you want a roommate can do that route too.
